It worked for my roommate, I guess. She sent e-mails like that to him all the time. Then again, he was supposed to have bought her the ring a year before he actually did. Things like dvd players, speakers, German Shepard training got in the way I guess Yeah, it is pretty tacky, though. But, if that works for some girls, do you think sending pictures of a new car, new canopy, new mattress would work for me? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Without traffic it's 4 hours from Chicago. With traffic you may as well bring a book to read in your car. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Well, Wildblue did offer you his couch... http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=335364;search_string=skymama;#335364 That's got to be competition of some sort! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Well, I was out of my house for 4 years at school, so I'm not sure if my parents bought new mattresses in that time or not. But, it is something that I should definitely look into. And, I forgot to reply to Richard, my back is definitely not that bad! It's more of an annoyance, I guess. It doesn't hinder me too much, but it would be nice to not almost always feeling some sort of discomfort back there. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Hmm...I really don't know....I can't remember the last time a mattress was actually purchased in my house, so maybe it is time to buy a new one. My reasoning for wanting one: I can sit straight for awhile at work. An hour or two goes by where (yes, not right now, of course) I'm concentrating on work and not on my spine. I end up slouching and hunching over my keyboard. I figured a back brace would help correct that. The heating pad sounds good! Thanks for all the great info everyone. I guess my concerns with going to a chiropractor is finding a good one. I've heard stories of people going to them for like 10 years and never feeling better. That's alot of time and money spent. I guess I can ask around for recommendations, but I don't know that many people that see one. I'll probably try the "therapeutic" massage thing, and see what happens from there. I'm just sick of my back hurting and really sick of any little thing (hard opening, uncomfortable hotel bed, etc) really hurting it. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

No...not my fault you missed Mardi Gras! Hmm....actually, that might make some sense. I try to do enough ab work, but maybe I'm not. I've done alot of back/shoulder exercises with machines and stuff, but I don't concentrate as much on my stomach. Maybe I'll start trying more crunches or something. I've noticed so much back pain within the past 9 months or so, and I just wondered if anyone else out there has had anything similar. The pain varies from directly on my spine, to my shoulders, and to these shooting pangs up along the sides of my spine. Sometimes it's my upper back, sometimes it's my lower back. I don't know if I'm supposed to see a doctor or go to a chiropractor, if I even choose to go to one at all. I'm also thinking that it might hurt due to my poor posture, so has anyone tried any back braces or anything like that? Basically, any info on back problems would be great! It's really starting to get to me! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

New Orleans is a fun town anywhere you go. My short report (will elaborate with some special pictures for you guys later): Woo woo! I am invincible! Other highlights: got video of a girl getting arrested, got video of me and Erin doing a song and dance to "Double Dutch Bus", Todd's life was saved (literally) by some safety goggles, interviewed some cops (on video, of course), and I started a new life of crime! Mardi Gras was MUCHO fun! It keeps getting better every year! Got some fun jumps, got some pretty beads, got some good Hurricanes, got some good...Oh! Look! I'm on a load...gotta go! Happy Mardi Gras! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I'm goin' jumpin'! I'm goin' jumpin'! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Cool! When do you plan on getting there? We'll have to make some fun jumps! Ones you haven't mentioned: Zhills....I really enjoyed it there! Oren kicks ass! They have Super Otters. If you're going to Eloy, try to hit Coolidge as well. Mullin's King Air...Mmmm.... Moss Point (I'm gonna be there tomorrow!) An Otter. It's a really friendly dz! Get there early if you can! Stay far away from the entertainment tent so that you can sleep (if you are one of the few to actually get that during the convention ), but close enough to where you plan on being throughout the convention (for me, it was near the LO tents). I had the best spot last year and some really cool "neighbors" for the week! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

That made me laugh! I'm sure Eric has a comment or two as well.... I've never dated someone with a palm tree looking penis...but, has anyone seen one that resembles a candy cane? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Not sure if they've been mentioned: Footloose I Just Called To Say I Love You There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Maybe I'm just a crappy artist, but I think if I tried to spray paint a 6 foot tall penis, it would probably end up looking like a palm tree or something! That's funny, though! Here's to the psycho ex-girlfriends that guys have that always keep me entertained! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Really? Skydiving hasn't made me a better person at all. On weekends where I could be volunteering, going to protests/rallies for causes I strongly believe in, educating myself by reading, improving my general health, etc, I am needlessly polluting the planet instead. It doesn't make me a better person. It might make me more fun, interesting, experienced, but as for the overall "better" aspect...not at all. I think I also meant more as in a "do people think they're better than anyone else because they skydive." If they think they're better than anyone else because of skydiving, then they are sadly mistaken. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Oops! I wasn't sure who was paying.... Either way...the registration fee is still a great deal for everything you get! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

One you forgot, Mary! I'm guessing that the registration fee goes to fill the slots of the organizers there. I would've been so lost if people like you, Bill, Winsor and DJan weren't there my first year. I would've paid double for what I learned in a short amount of time due to the effort that you guys put in. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

If I can convince my grandparents, I can bring one of those electric coolers so that stuff can stay cool all day, and people won't have to worry about ice. They should let me have it. I don't think they ever use it. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

You've got to be kidding me, right? Do people out there really think they're any better because they skydive? I know quite a few interesting and hot whuffo guys that any skydiving girl that I've ever met (myself included) could not "handle" them. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I got some Mardi Gras practice for only $25:0:0 That second number will improve this weekend! It's about darn time! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Did you hear about this guy killing himself in a chatroom?

I disagree. A friend of mine had an abortion. People strongly disagreed with abortion (her family is Catholic), but they supported her anyways. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning -

Well, Eric...I really don't know if your video is good or not. I can't watch it here...they won't let me. It would take hours to watch it at home. Maybe your video sucks, and everyone is just being nice? Maybe I'll get to see it this weekend if I'm lucky! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Do you recieve a hard time from your co-workers about skydiving?
Vallerina replied to nubain1's topic in The Bonfire
My bosses didn't like me at the restaurant where I used to work. I'd call in sick, always request weekends off, etc so that I could jump. They caught on quickly, so I started getting doctor's notes (Purdue's health facilities will always tell you you're sick.) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
