Very true. I would also have no idea because it may be skewed, etc. What I meant was that I do have some typical "right" views that I thought would balance out and put me between 0 and 1. I guess not! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Uh oh! We're gonna debate on the better team! I don't know. I went to many Cubs games as a youngster, and I didn't go to a bar to have fun at one. I like the "atmosphere" at a Cubs game rather than a Sox game. Plus, the south side smells Baseball fans go to both, but you're right...more yuppies go to Wrigleyville than Comiskey. I guess if I was a baseball fan, I would feel the same as you. Unfortunately, I'm not. I prefer basketball! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Geeze, Chris. Like I could shout out anyone's name that likes the Marlins! (Yes, I'm a yuppie who is only watching the game tonight so I can go to the cool local bars! I've always liked the Cubs better than the Sox, though...that has to count for something!) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Mmm...birdman jumps...mmmm Are you up for the biggest waste of altitude, though? I mean...can you handle going on a high altitude jump and doing nothing with it??? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning -

I'll warn the others! Are there going to be high altitude jumps? If so...does anyone want to continue the tradition with me...the biggest waste of 20 thousand feet? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning -
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well. Glad I decided to go to Wrigleyville tonight to watch them win instead of last night to watch them lose. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Yes! That's it! It was really stupid, if I remember right. It was basically a "Who done it?" kind of game. There were a bunch of character cards that you put into the lie detector. The character cards each had a hole in a unique place on it. Then, there were black cards that you put in the lie detector with the name hidden. The black card had a hole matching the character card of the person who did it. You put a pen in the lie detector. If you didn't hit the hole, the pen wouldn't go all the way through, so they were telling the truth. If it went all the way through, they were lying and it would ding. Actually, I may lie. There may have been a series of questions, and the black card was the question. I don't remember! It was a dumb game, so I just used it as a lie detector for my brother...he was always lying! I'm liberal, and my grandpa is conservative. It always made for great Christmas dinner arguments. Our last argument ended with him saying, "If you're conservative while young, you have no heart. If you're liberal while old, you have no brains." So, we just agreed to disagree There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I'm not really sure I saw any personal attacks (that's what wildblue's tag board is for! ) Maybe I'm just oblivious. I think what Bill was trying to point out (I am probably wrong, but he can just delete my post and ban me if I am ) was the kind of racism shown in that article. I will change it over to sexism, since I can relate to that more. Nowadays, instead of someone saying, "No, you cannot go into a math related field because you're femal," they say, "Wow, that's great you can do math, even though you're female." Someone who wasn't sexist would simply say, "Wow, that's awesome you have strong mathematical abilities." I'm not sure if that makes sense to anyone, but it does to me, so I'm happy with that! I don't think he attacked you. I just think he used the tactic of trying to get you to see what it's like in someone else's shoes. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

I don't remember what it was called, but there were two big clown faces, and you had to move their hands to put gumballs in their mouths! That was a dumb game, but I liked it! I always made my brother's friends play Mall Madness and Dream Phone with me! They'll never admit it, but they had fun. My brother had the cooler toys, though. I don't remember the name of the game, but it was a lie detector thingy. The good ol' days! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

You know...that story reminds me of something that happened my freshman year of college. My roommate and I were both in engineering, and we were both very similar (from the same area, similar upbringing, both close with our grandmas, both of us hated chemistry, etc.) We went to a cheesey engineering event together and just wandered about the tables of people trying to get us to join stuff. One woman we both talked to remarked how great it was that someone of her culture was in engineering. Sure, it's great of anyone to get into a field they can be successful in, but she was confused on how her "culture" made it remarkable for her to be in that field. I think it will be a great day when people stop noticing color and when it's no longer astounding for someone to do a somewhat normal task. Haha! I'm the opposite! I wouldn't put up with them, but I would love them. I don't think it's too uncommon either. Prisoners who have committed heinous crimes still get visitors. Yeah, my one example for myself is my brother. I really can't think of anything that would make me stop loving him. He would never do anything wrong, but even if he did something horrible, he may not be at the top of my list of favorite people, but that wouldn't change that I love him. Even if a family member did something that is despicable....something so bad where I couldn't even look at them ever again....I would still love them. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Hmm....when I took dance, I hung out with those girls just as much as I have hung out with skydivers. We all had a common bond, and I still hung out with a few of them 10 years after I quit dance. That bond was strong, and we were all there for each other. They were very good friends, but they were not family. Oh...and there were plenty of dancers I did not like! Why skydivers are not family: You will not have a skydiver that you've only talked to twice in your life put you in their will. The love amongst skydivers is not unconditional. Most of us did not grow up with skydivers. And my brain is slow today, so I can't really think of any more. Skydivers can be great friends. I've met so many wonderful people in this sport. Not calling them family doesn't taint that any. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Feelings. I'm more capable to accept my shortcomings in the bedroom area than I am to accept my shortcomings as a human being. Seeking out somebody because I'm not good enough, smart enough, they don't like me, etc would really hurt. Seeking out somebody because they want to feel bigger boobs wouldn't really hurt me (I would just think they're dumb.) There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Oh heck no! Take any other sport/hobby/interest that you can form a quick bond with somebody over, and you'll get the same deep connection. It doesn't mean they're family; it just means that you have one thing in common. My theory is that the "family" feeling is felt when other parts of their life are not fulfilled. People use skydiving to replace what's missing. There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Ugh....I'm in a bad mood, so I'm picking this topic to rant about! Yes, I was in ballet for awhile, and I sucked, but some of the people I danced with went on to be professionals. So, the environment of where I danced was very "professional." At the time, I was naturally skinny. I used to eat half a pizza a day, but still weighed in at 95 lbs, and I was about 5'7" (I was also 14). Almost everyone else looked just like me. One girl got very ill from the flu and lost about 30 lbs. She was never fat, but the minute she got back from being sick, everyone raved about how good she looked. She was 12. She shouldn't have ever worried that she was too big. Sigh... It's not just in ballet either. Look at all the celebrities that guys on here fantasize about. You won't be able to find many that wear something higher than a size 2. It makes me ill that celebrities that were already too skinny lose even more weight. Gwen Stefani was about my size, but she went and lost 30-40 lbs before her first major hit. I would be so very ill if I lost that much weight! When will cellulite be attractive? Understanding the BirdMan Skydiver and Flight Plan

You're so naive. Never cut the whuffos away. They're the only people we know with money! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

Wrongway, you are a youngin! No, some girls are like that. I do have whuffo girlfriends who like actually doing things in their spare time. My friend Erin loves hiking, camping, going to museums, going on road trips, etc. She wants to make a tandem, and she would've by now if she had the money. She's very independent, and she's okay with the boyfriends that she's had having different interests from her. She's a cool chick, and she's a whuffo. You think girls like her get insecure from skydiving guys? Wrong. Most skydiving guys would be insecure dating a hot, intelligent, independent and very cool woman (oh, and did I mention she's coming to Eloy to do a tandem? She's very taken, though.)
