I have to agree whole heartedly on this one. I do not use my phone while driving unless there is just no other way to make the call and if so it's extremely fast and to the point. People have been known to get upset with me because I tell them I'm driving and I do not want to talk at that moment. Oh I wont let them drill, clean or anything uless I'm out of it. Seriously I had some bad experiences with a dentist. I had to have a root canal on one of my front teeth and it was just bad, real bad. Since then I've been extremely afraid to ever go back. Most of the time I'll go get some antibiotics and never return. Let them tell me everything I need to take care of then just payum and leave. I have really good dental insurance, so the GF finally taked me into getting a through checkup. That an one of my front teeth has become loose and is painful. Just happens to be the one that needed a root canal when I was 12. I got smacked directly in the face with a hockey stick, broke one of my teeth at the root just killed the other one. The dentist did a root canal and inserted a metal rod to hold the broken one together. Since then the root in the gumline has been absorded and gets absess once every 2 or 3 years. DENTIST!! I have an appt today. It's been so long (read: 5 years) since I went, I'm probably going to send my dentist on a world cruise when he's done with my mouth. Been needing to go for awhile. I'm not that happy with my smile or the looks of my teeth. So I finally broke down and decided to get them looked at again and see what I can afford to do. I already know I have both my bottom wisdom teeth impacted, they need to be removed. Both my front teeth are dead from a hockey high sticking when I was 12 so they both probably need to come out and get a bridge. Their discolored but not from lack of care, just dead and to muck coffee and stuff.. I'm sure I've given a wonderful picture of my teeth now. They aren't that bad, I mean their not rotting or anything. Just major shit I gota take care of and if I dont want to be in falsies when I'm 45 I better do something now. Just going for x-rays and a cleaning today. I hope.. I'm so deathly afraid of the dentist. Had very very bad experiences with a bad one when I was a child. The reactors in the US are pretty safe from this kinda of disater. I wouldn't say immune though. Three Mile Island taught the NRC alot. We almost had one 10 years before the Soviets. We learned and incorpirated safety stops and better technology in todays reactors. I still don't think it's a safe way to produce power. The whole thing was a sad testement to the Soviet system. All those people died. Forced to die in some cases. An entire part of the world in uninhabitable to humans because of one mistake. Hell animals probably shouldn't be able to live there. Talk radio host Enrique Santos said the fine made no sense, so he and co-host Joe Ferrero will pay it with 400,000 cents, delivered in person to the Federal Communications Commission in Washington. "We prank-called a head of state in a country that is considered hostile to the United States. He's a violator of human rights and they're fining us $4,000," Santos said on Tuesday. "We just find it absurd." Santos and Ferrero host "El Vacilon de la Manana," or "The Morning Joker," show on Spanish-language radio station WXDJ-FM in Miami. On June 17 they phoned Cuba's foreign relations ministry and pretended to be aides to Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, an admirer of Castro. They said Chavez needed to speak urgently to Castro because he had lost a suitcase full of sensitive documents during a recent trip both leaders made to Argentina. The call was transferred through several government officials and when Castro came on the line, the pranksters used recorded snippets from a Chavez speech to make it seem the Venezuelan leader was calling -- phrases like "Fidel," and "How are you?" After getting Castro to agree to hunt for the suitcase, they called him a killer and told him he was on a Miami radio show. Castro replied with a string of curses and hung up. The call was broadcast five times over two days, to the delight of Miami's Castro-loathing Cuban exiles. But the FCC (news - web sites) ruled last week that the station violated a regulation requiring that participants in phone conversations be told in advance if the call is being broadcast.
