I agree about W&J... There was a monopoly at one time. No one company could own more then 2 radio stations in the same market. The FCC changed this rule a few years back so now you've got monopolies in all the major markets. Just heard Wendy Miller (noontime dj from klol) on The Buzz.. so maybe some more were spared the ax. I do know W&J are off the air. Dunno about Outlaw Dave and Chuck.. Chuck was just starting to get awesome air time during the Outlaw Dave show too.. Well I know for certain that they fired Walton & Johnson. They are not on the air on any of the affiliates that used to network to. I just got an email from Walton saying they would trully apreciate any help the Houston fans could show for them. He suggested emailing and contacting Cox & Infinity broadcasting in Houston. They both own stations in the Houston market. This change caught them so far off guard. He says no one in the office knew it was coming, not even the program director Steve Fix. The "suits" showed up Friday morning and made the switch at 10am. I am so pissed. I haven't seen Chuck in forever and I know he's probably feeling pretty bad at the moment. The company Chuck worked (he may still) for dumped the album rock format of a 34 year old radio station and switched to latino format. I'm not totaly sure if he's out of work or not. But I'm sure him and all the other DJs are gasping for air just as I am. Clear Channel Communication is the spawn of SATAN!
