Does anyone know of an authentic set of helicopter flight controls available for sims? I haven't looked lately, but I've never seen one. mh . Controls as in the input (joystick, foot rudders etc..) or as in the way the helo reacts when being flown? I have to say the BF mod I play the helo's are freakin hard to control because they were coded to real life physics. I fly Apaches!! Hind's, Blackhawks... ya ya I know it's just a game. But man does it take ALOT of practice. At least I don't take the chance of serious injury or death flying mine Helo guide to flying it's takes some serious skill to fly those things. Even in a game. But, you're not and you're responding to this thread. As for your original question.. Sure there are some "seekers" as you put it here. Some are just blatant. Some don't even know they are doing it.... Then you've got the ones like me, who could careless, but post useless information (sometimes not useless), make snide comments and complain about the fluff all the time. The Porno-Pixie was the best answer, all communities have a mix of personalities. Learn to ignore the ones that agitate you. Very interesting links! My toons name in Evercrack is "Sir Twinked Uhlott" hahaha and he was deffinetly a "twink" in the sense he got some really nice equipment when I rolled him. Probably the only lvl 10 SK on my server with some of the weapons he had. Griefing is just like trolling, except I find it to be much worse. Trolling on forums people can ignore and move on to another post. Griefing in the gaming world is much worse due to the fact you just can't pickup your toon and move it. Much more complicated. It may just be possible to be a troll without realising you are in fact trolling. It's a definition thats hard to define. Actually I wasn't being a troll. I kinda know the differences. I was just posting an interesting article I was reading and figured I would share it with my skydiving buds. Call me a troll or and asshole, I don't really care. Yea I was reading about that Karma system. I never knew how it worked until today. I also never knew it grew out of a Sourceforge project and it's basically freeware that's constantly evolving.
