I just got back from Target. This one had a Starbucks in it. I got a venti triple-shot mocha latte. Now I'm trying to mellow my caffein buzz with a beer. My normal answer when asked where I'm from it... Texas Another reason we don't normally say were Americans is we're from the United States of America. America is a large country and it's not just the United States, you've got many countries sharing the Americas. A Canadian could answer the question saying their "American" their in North America... Ask a Mexican national and they could say their from America, they're in Central America.. Make sense? No don't get me wrong, I think the idea to try and bring more into the sport is a good idea. It just wasn't interesting to me. I like 160+ mph and turn left. The "stock cars" aren't made nor engineered to be a road car. They're made to go really fast and turn left. I wasn't to impressed with the race. It wasn't the big boys and it was a road course. Plus it was an 80 lap race on a 2.5 mile track. That wasn't NASCAR.... I am glad to see them trying to "internationalize" the sport but the facility and the course just wasn't NASCAR. I used to drink after mine all the time. I take a glass of ice water to bed every night. He used to sleep with me, so the lazy bum would hop over to the night stand and drink mine instead of heading the the kitchen to get his. I caught him a few times. I'd wake up in the middle of the night to get a drink and take a sip. He's be at the foot of the bed smirking at me. My stories or whatever you want to call them come from shear broedom at work and a very vivid imagination. I don't normally post much from home when I've been drinking adult beverages. Spectre230 with his 747 and all the goverment "spying" was hilarious. Skreamer took up BASE because he can't spot (true story) Operation Melons (not boobies) - completely classic!! Pammi & Merrik were great sports about that one.
