I never said I tried to fit in, I was just a victim of the dicrimination. So it does matter, to type here saying it doesn't is living a sheltered life. Chris's question was does it matter. Yes it matters. Wasn't can you make friends when your poor or rich... I could careless if someone doesn't like me. I am me take me as I am... I don't need money to have friends. Don't buy it.. I wasn't selling it... I was saying what I know, what I experienced.. what I was told.. what I lived with while going to UT. So ya I do think people judge who you are financialy.. Maybe not on your DZ it doesn't matter.. but everywhere else it's a hell of a gauge. You live in a very closed world to think it doesn't. One of the main reasons I quit when I did... I have to agree with this. I wasn't brought up with alot of money. I was on the "blue collar" side of the tracks. I was forced to go to a school with the kids from the "white collar" side of the tracks. I had my friends from both sides. I'm closer now to the friends from my side of the tracks. Even after 20 years since highschool. I got the same snubs when I went to UT because I wasn't wearing the right clothing or driving a beemer. I drove a hot-rod corvette so I was less then a person in the eyes of some. I really have to backpeddle some. The only reason I would consider giving up my beer is medical. I'm a responsible drinker, I have designated drivers when I go out. I don't drink and drive ever. I also don't get so wasted I forget things I've said or done the night before... ok well there was that one time... Not to sure about the Vanquish. But I've always like the 32-33 Ford roadsters with & without fenders. When I was a kid I fell in love with the hotwheels 32 Ford Roadster. Loved the look ever since. One of mine is the 72 Vette 4spd 350. I owned a 72 427 convertable. It used to be a 350 but my dad and I swapped a wrecked 69's 427 in. Like the dumbass I was at the time.. I Sold it just after I flunked outa college. If I owned it now it would be worth a mint!! Ok I know I'm a bit late on this but OH MY GAWD that was funny! I have to agree.. I can just see skymama franticly punching the keyboard with her two fingers. Is it one on each hand? Still haven't smoked! I got fired up this morning and had to take a xanax to stay calm. Anxiety got the best of me. Kinda keeping this as a log of the trials of quiting after 21 years. My will power is staying strong. Still haven't tested this theroy while drinking a beer... That will be a true test, if I can consume adult beverages and not smoke, I've got it dicked. I can drink coffee just fine without a cigarette. So I'm thinking it just mind over matter. Hey how about a xanax and some beer?
