    Yes, I believe that if the Vatican changed its stance on condom use then a whole lot of people in high AIDS risk areas will be more likely to use condoms, and more receptive to safe sex campaigns. Look, your stance in this thread is that if the Church can't make people obey every single one of their commands to the letter, then the Church must not have any influence over peoples behaviour at all. Do I really need to point out (again) what a complete load of bullshit that is? Jakee - hater of all things associated with Christianity and the Church. You're so consistent. What drives this sentiment?

I'm reminded of the time you wrote: "The science is settled" - regarding AGW When pressed, you offered up a bunch of facts, that aren't being questioned by AGW skeptics!!! In other words - "The science is settled" about overall global warming.... but not about anthropogenic global warming!

    What you're saying is they should have known beforehand and stepped on his rights to free speech before he ever asked a question, instead of allowing him a voice? From what I saw, it wasn't his questions that got him in trouble, but his behavior.

    Please. Sure it does. He wasn't a dangerous armed criminal. He's a journalism student. Standing in front of him and saying "you are under arrest" and then reading his rights might have been a good start. Also, unless you are an aggressive threat to the officers (swinging a fist or object or holding a weapon) taser is not justified. If he goes to the ground, pull the arms back and cuff him. Had he taken an aggressive stance or attempted to fight in an offensive manner, the taser would be more appropriate. But I maintain that bad police work escalated the situation and the whole thing could have been handled without the forthcoming lawsuits. If only you had been there.... this whole unfortunate scene could have been avoided.

    So exactly how should an Officer that trying to contain a suspect that is fighting back? Just wrestle him till taps out? SOMEHOW the cops managed to arrest people before the taser was invented. Yeah. They should have just clubbed (or maced) him.

Then again he seems to think its better to invade Poland than stand up for one's principles so I probably shouldn't take him too seriously. Speaking of hyperbole. What hyperbole? He has spelled out quite clearly that in his opinion answering the draught is more important than political protest, even in Nazi Germany. If you say so.
