    There you go. Now we know which of the two positions I outlined you stand on. Hope it turns out ok for ya. How about a third option - Stay and quit fretting about something that is about as likely as Bush balancing the budget. If someone could actually show how present day USA is comparable to 1930s Germany, I might give it consideration. As it is, the comparison is nothing more than a silly emotional hand grenade.

    No. Wannabes often research their subject matter fairly well. Actually we Canadians just consider our southern neighbours just a little "slower", something to do with breeding. We understand that in many states the phrase "If your sister isn't good enough for your father, she's not good enough for you either" is common. Something like 90-95% of everyone in Canada lives within 100 miles of the US border. I wonder why.

    About hating Hillary - first off, she's the posterchild for the modern, empowered, feminist. This is certainly a turn off to conservatives. Then going back to 92-94, she's shown to be condescending to traditional women and has a distinctly socialist leaning (i.e. healthcare reform). Moving on to the Lewinski business - she's shown she's clearly willing to compromise her principles for political ambitions. And yes I know all politicians do this, but Mrs. "I'm not a Tammy Wynnette - stand by your man" kind of woman gave Bill a pass for humiliating and betraying her on the national stage. Then there is the carpetbagger business. On top of all this she seems to be a cold, soulless, humorless bitch. While I disagree with her leanings I think she has better leadership skills than any presidential candidate from the last two elections. I've also noticed a number of liberals who now detest her.

    Of course, there's a huge gulf between what you claim as fact and what can confirmed as such. Sorry, we don't have any firsthand evidence of Bush claiming to being a Christian Soldier. Not that the details would get in the way of how you perceive it.

    Earlier today, I made a statement about some posters making exagerated claims or extreme analogies (presumably because the simple truth is not that compelling). I think it was in a thread that got zapped. Anyway, this looks like a prime example. First you say - ""We have a president who has openly told us that GOD has told him that this WAR is good"? " When you efforts to prove that true fall flat, you make it about general statements of his faith. There's a big difference in saying "I openly confess that I pray and sometimes feel God hears me" and claiming he told us that "God has told me this war is good". It's about reading comprehension.

    Saddam Hussein? Omar al-Bashir? The "one child only" policies of China? Not sure he's a winner, but if "indirect" deaths are part of the equation, bid Laden always beats Bush by a few thousand because his attack gave the White House the political capital necessary to commit ground troops for years of action. Otherwise it's more cruise missile attacks. Those responsible for the 3 gorges dam on the Yangtze might win this contest if the thing fails. Hey look Amazon - someone addressed my reply to your post........ and it wasn't you. Do you have any idea who gets top billing (I'm guessing you thought it was your buddy - Dubya), or did you just post that as a conversation starter?
