Completely agree with the points made by Gravitymaster and thegreekone. My first thought was "YES!" when McHobbit got the smackdown he deserved. How could he just dismiss "intell" about an attack on the motorcade like that? He's not gone yet; that subplot with the keycard is still out there. Also, glad to see that Pierce survived the attack, and that Martha told him that Spineless knew about it, and did nothing. Yep, things are about to get VERY interesting! Someone check me on this: but I believe that Jack, Tony, Mike Novick and Pierce are the only characters that have been around since Season One. Next week is a "double shot" according to Fox...
  2. I've got one, and there's a DZ on it! How cool is that? SLG...Smith Field...Siloam Springs, AR; home of Skydive Skyranch!
  3. OK, I can't resist this....DOORS!!!! I love your Tube of Pleasure, too! Can I make a reservation yet?
  4. Drove past the site today (er, yesterday now) and all 4 fans were in place; as was what appeared to be the flight chamber!! Laurie, can you confirm that my over-amped, jonesing-for-tunnel-time mind wasn't playing tricks on me?
  5. Me as a nun....ummm, no. It is sad...so where/how do we find people play with? I'm open to ideas!
  6. Yep. Playing with yourself (even using toys) is only fun for a while. I need someone to play with! -S --

Got to agree with you..lots of stuff happening in this ep. Can't believe Cummings walked in and told Logan that he was a "patriot" and was dispensing nerve gas to "for the good of the country". I'm surprised Jack let him live. The expression on the First Lady's face when Logan tried to apologize was classic "you're going to pay for this". Jean Smart is perfect for this role. In the previews for next week, the person hiding in the apartment was dark-skinned. Could it be Wayne Palmer? --

My fantasy crossover would be "24" and "The Shield" (another fantastic show). How long do you think Jack and Vic Mackey would last working together? BTW, Shane's booty was in full view tonight...yummy! -S
  9. Hey Billy, So glad it's working!! Can't beat $5! In general (depending on the appliance and repair vs. replacement cost) I'll fix something once and get a new one when/if it dies again. Just my .02 Blues! Stacey
  10. I had a friend with an electronics background fix it for me. Not sure where he got the fuse, or which one was blown. I sent him an email for details.
  11. Hey Billy, Sounds similar to what happened with mine. Turned out to be a blown fuse in the micro. Cost $15 to repair and it's working fine again. Your cost may be different, but it could be worth looking into. Stacey
  12. Maid service?? Nice try...I have enough trouble picking up after myself (kidding)!
  13. Hmm...so maybe I should chuck the roomie and open the "Home For Wayward Canadian Tunnel Flyers"
  14. under 6 miles for me...hee hee! I'm spoiled. :-)

It's rare that I get so emotionally involved in a TV show (other than Pats & RedSox games) that I actually yell & curse at the screen. I couldn't help myself: They killed 2 (possibly 3) great characters in the first 15 minutes! (I don't want to name names in case ppl with TiVo haven't seen the ep yet). My reason to look forward to Monday is back :-) I just hope the writers can keep up this pace for the whole season! Stacey ps: do not interrupt me between 8pm and 10pm tonight. Another double shot of Jack, please! :-)
  16. Hi! I have been thinking about working with a career coach and would like to have peep's pro & con opinions. Did the coach help you, and was it worth the money? Thanks for your input! Stacey
  17. Please re-assure all the skeptics that the NH tunnel is a reality (the site is too small for a WallyWorld anyway)! More pics and info can be found at http://www.bodyflight.net. Click on the "under construction" (I think) links in the top right. The tunnel should be open by March, however the longer it takes the more time I have to save $$$ to spend there!
  18. www.cn8.tv I tried to make that a clicky, but it's not working..
  19. Just got off the phone with my folks. They live in Naples, about 2 miles from the coast and 6 feet above sea level. Mom said they would make the decision tonight or tomorrow morning on if and where they are going. I told them not to wait too long. Question for the meteorologically-inclined: how and/or why did this thing strengthen so quickly? Yikes! Vibes and prayers to everyone in Florida! Stay Safe, Stacey
  20. Nothing exciting: shampoo, body wash, a back scrubber, 2 razors, and a sqeegee thing for the glass. I'll be re-doing my tub/shower soon...the end result will be nice, but the process sucks! :-)
  21. Hi Jeff! I'm sure you know who LawnDart21 is. Look at the little picture in his profile. If you still don't recognize him, I'll be happy to introduce you. He, and his wife, are most definitely people worth knowing. :-) You are absolutely correct that a sub-18 year old can declare the waiver null and void after signing it; even with parental consent. That's why it's non-negotiable. We get this question a lot in Manifest; most people understand the age requirement (and even give a tandem as an 18th birthday present); it's a shame some jerk had to get in LD21's face about it. Stacey (the manifest bitch)
  22. Hi All, I emailed the owners and they responded saying that they will be posting something in the next couple of days. Stay tuned... :-)
  23. Hi All, I'm hoping you can help me with something. Last week, totally out of nowhere, my dad offered to buy me a new car. He said he would pay the balance after I traded my current car. Wow! I was shocked and speechless, it was completely unexpected. I know what they say about the gift horse, but for some reason I'm feeling guilty about accepting the money. I told him he should keep the money for himself and Mom (they're both retired); he insisted they have plenty. I don't even think Mom knows he's doing this (on a couple of phone calls over the weekend, he changed the subject when Mom got near - I could hear her in the background) which makes it even more strange. I certainly haven't done anything to deserve such a generous gift. I don't really need a new car...yeah it would be sweet to get one; but it's a "want" not a "need". Am I over-analyzing this? Advice and opinions welcomed. Blues, Stacey
