I've been a registered marrow donor sonce 1995, but have not been called to donate yet. Periodically, I check with the Registry to make sure they haven't lost my info. It's a wonderful thing you're considering! Go to: www.marrow.org to find your closet center. Peace, Stacey

Pepperell Boogie 8/16-20 Otter/Casa/Tunnel
staceyg replied to staceyg's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Hi Folks, Apparently, there is a lot of confusion about whether or not the CASA will be here for the boogie. We re-confirmed with Paul Fayard this morning that the CASA will be arriving tomorrow Thursday 8/17 before noon, and will be here through Sunday evening. If there are any questions, please call the DZ; or just come out and jump!! -

Brazilian-Ways during Pepperell's Boogie 8/16-20
staceyg replied to staceyg's topic in Events & Places to Jump
Hi Folks, Our own Brazilian Connection is looking for their fellow jumpers in the US and abroad to put some skydives together during Skydive Pepperell's Boogie August 16-20. Big ways, little ways and everything in between for all experience levels. Dalton Carvalho is organizing; PM me for his email address. Aircraft: CASA & Super Otter Parties, barbeques, bonfires, & lots of fun! Also, there will be a Skydive U tunnel camp with Yuki & Chromy at SkyVenture NH (15 mins from Pepperell) from Aug 18-20. Any questions just ask! More stuff being formalized; will post when confirmed. -
I got the inside tour from dzjnky on Sat afternoon; and all I could say was "wow" and "cool" repeatedly (need to find some new words). It would be an understatement to call it very impressive. Just walking in the door (or as Rob calls them "door wannabes") and seeing that big (yeah it's BIG) blue inlet contractor sweeping up to the flight chamber was enough to crank my excitement/impatience level up a couple of notches. Then I went up to where (I think) the front desk will be and, just for grins, dirt-dived making a reservation. My bank account is already recoiling in horror.

Selling everything, buying a nice RV and just hitting the road? Yup, it's crossed my mind several hundred times recently. Only problem is that I' m not sure I have the guts to do it alone. It would be easier if I had someone to go with me. Anybody want to cut away?

Not just you. Our DZO's dog has a nasty habit of letting them loose in manifest...ugh! Pew!

Funny enough on it's own. Maybe she has some of these? I like those!!

Procrastination; my blender died a while ago and I haven't replaced it. It's now #1 on my list for the weekend!

Sorry, I had to post about my absurd evening: There's a thunderstorm going on, and I'm sitting on the couch just watching the lightning when I get a craving for a chocolate milkshake (no, I'm not pregnant). So I head to the closest Wendy's and they're out of milkshakes. Nuts. Off to Burger King...they're out too. Next is McDonald's...this can't be happening, nothing there either. WTF?? WHO DRANK ALL THE MILKSHAKES?? Is this a conspiracy to deny me a cold, chocolaty treat? Yes, I could have gone to DQ and gotten a cone; but I really wanted to suck on a straw (someone else can analyze that); and I didn't feel like driving around in a downpour searching for another shake place. I was enjoying the light show though. Well, here I'm back on the couch; and without a milkshake. I'm going to bed.

You know, there's a fix for that. My name does not match my birth certificate...I decided to change my name in first grade. Actually, I don't see the problem with "Stacey", but then now that I've grown up I don't really have a problem with my birth name either. Still, the few of you on here who know my real name better keep your mouths and keyboards shut. I'm bigger than any of you. Blues, Dave It's the way it goes with my last name; not the name itself. Horrible. Somebody marry me, please so I can change it.

Yes there is; and mine certainly does suck. I blame my parents for my being made fun of my entire life. They should have known better.

There's an article in USAToday that states: "Edgar became more vulnerable as his appeal grew"; and quotes a producer as saying: "The good news is you're one of the best characters on the show; the bad news is that, unfortunately, we have to kill you now." So if popularity = death, who's next? Any bets?

I'm right there with you S-man. I don't want to spoil it either, but...holy freakin' crap! What a ride!

Hey Matt, Apologies....didn't mean to ruffle your feathers! I meant "sites" as in "locations" not websites. Will be more clear in the future. Do you have any tips on how to use DC++? Thanks! Stacey

Too funny: "Stacey was arrested for running away and being incorrigible. At the same time she found pregnant."

Yes, it happened in the previews for next week. I didn't even know about the download sites, thanks for that. Will check it out.

I popped in a disk from S1 and yep, there was Aaron bodyguarding Palmer. He's grown to be one of my favorite's too. The kind of guy you can really depend on in a crisis. And I think he's come around to realize that Martha is not as batty as everyone thinks; and that the Prez is a spineless dumbass. It will be interesting to see what he does with the knowledge of Logan's complicity in the attack.
