Well, now they want the NJ gov to join the race. Cain wins the straw poll in FL, Mitt is falling, Perry is a dunce and the others are also rans. Sorry Ron Paul fans. So give me your predictions. Who will the Republicans nominate?

More proof we invaded the wrong two nations. -
Every so often KTLA will do a show about old news stories. Lawn Chair Larry is always featured.

Really? I hate to burst your humanitarian bubble, but you realize the reason the video ever made it anywhere on the web, let alone to this site, is because it's a goof. Nobody is watching it and swelling up with pride because of the guy's triumph over adversity to build a revolutionary flying machine. Nobody. As previously stated, the design is an enlargement of a very popular RC aircraft that's being sold by the millions all over the web. It's nothing new and he didn't think of it. Beyond that, the underprivledged third-world builder somehwo got access to 8 motorcycle engines, 8 wooden props, 8 electronic tachs, what looks like a couple hundred feet of sqaure tube and a welder. It would be one thing if they guy built it all out of bamboo and cocconut shells like on Gilligans Island, but it's clear that while the guy is not an aeronautical genius, he's obviously got no shortage of fabrication skills or acees to raw materials. For you to overlook that, and then comment on others lack of rational thought is, well, irrational. It's strange that you think the builder is underprivlidged. He might be the wealthiest dude in his town. Maybe he could care less if it got higher than a few inches. Maybe he had a bet with a buddy that said he couldn't make this stuff work. Maybe he saw the RC model and thought, hey, let's make a big version. Maybe he wants his own reality show, a sort of "Top Gear" for flying stuff. He isn't doing anything dumb like jumping out of an airplane or off of a cliff at least. We cheer for the underdogs. Everyone remembers ski jumper Eddie the Eagle from the 1988 Olympics. Does anyone remember a single other participant that year? Or the Jamaican bobsledders. Most skydivers and pilots dreamed of building stuff like that as kids. I think that contraption he made is kinda cool.

The CDC website recommends all of the vacinations for all Central American destinations. Your chances of contracting something in Nicaragua is less than if you spend a few nights at a boogie. I always recommend participants to check with their physician before attending.

So you want to start a blacklisting of jumpers? Where do we start? Can I include some very respected members of our sport that regularly violate DZ canopy flight rules? Can I blacklist DZO's that run shoddy operations? Can I blacklist the druggies and boozers that board the plane impaired? Can I blacklist jumpers that don't know how to pack for themselves? Can I blacklist jumpers that sell drugs? Can I blacklist jumpers that have 10,000 jumps and still do incredibly dumb things? Can I blacklist load organizers that can't follow their own DZ rules? Can I blacklist pilots that take off downwind and fly a crappy jump run and spot even crappier? Can we blacklist somebody that doesn't post or lurk on DZ.com? Once someone is on the list, what do the ever do to get off of the list? Our sport has some safety issues for sure, but let's not have our own version of the McCarthy Hearings... -
Obama got Bin Laden. Obama has deported more illegals than GWB. Obama will have us drawn down in Afghanistan and Iraq. Unemployment will hover at 7% for the election. Workers are tired of the union busting. Even though union members only make up about 11% of the US work force. Voters are sick and tired of the Nordquist pledge and the Republican stance on new taxes. Perry is too religiously radical and his record in Texas as Governor is deplorable. Mitt is a Mormon. Bachmann is an alien. Palin is a dunce. flame away usual suspects, flame away... Republicans, the party of REALLY bad ideas. Democrats, the party of really NO ideas.

Start your own DZ at the family farm.

This thread is so off on a tangent. He's saving taxpayer money. Isn't that what you want? Lots of cities have mandatory wellness programs.

If you really like it, it will cost you about three marriages, all of your current friends and about $180,000. (USD, Euro or Pounds)

Whew, thanks for clearing that all up.

God' existence has nothing to do with you. God also does not "need" you for anything. That's one of His attributes (Solitude). He did not have to condescend Himself to pay the penalty for those in active rebellion against Him. But He did anyway out of His grace. He is withholding judgment against you currently out of his mercy. God will be glorified either by you repenting, placing your faith in Him, and spending eternity with Him ... or God will be glorified in the judgment and punishment for your sin after you die, and you spending an eternity in hell. Either way, God is holy and "just." But don't think for one second that you're doing God some kind of favor by saying you're sorry and turning to Him. It is commanded (not requested) in Scripture for you to repent and believe. That doesn't even make sense. Thanks jakee, damn, I read that over and over trying to figure out what he was trying to say.

I grew up in the middle of Amish country. The buggys are very difficult to see at night, even with the orange triangle on the back. When my dad was giving me driving tips, lesson one was to always watch for the buggys. Four years ago I nearly killed an entire family of Amish on Rt 7 by Conneaut, OH. They were fixing a wheel just off to the side, but still half in the lane. The angle of the buggy didn't reflect the triangle. It was very dark and there were trees overhanging the street. My wife saw them at the last minute and screamed. I had skid marks on the road and my britches after just missing them by about a foot. I wish they would all put tail lights on them. And more reflective gear.

Union and government workers are the average joes.

e-mail me soon if you would like to join us in Nicaragua. We have 170 participants as of today.

Don looks a lot like Patrick, but more sinister facial features, thus securing him roles as really bad dudes in B flicks. Sounds like Patrick also. He's a longtime skydiver and BASE jumper in SoCal. He's a great guy. Most remakes and sequels stink, except for Shrek and Toy Story.

So the people that pay into social security their entire working lives want their money back also when they reach 62. Is that pork or an entitlement?

There are so many things going on at the moment with our access battle I wouldn't know where to begin explaining it. I have retained a land use attorney, the FAA is on board and I speak with Randy O at USPA nearly every other day. We're VERY close to jumping there. Stay tuned... -
Don't know where you live, but I have been asked to donate at many fundraisers for adult and children's health care over the years. Not tin cup door to door, but asking just the same.
