    Most clear thinking citizens wanted a trial, or at least formal charges for the imprisoned Gitmo detainees arrested under GWB. Ron Paul apologized today and condemed the actions. I thought as Americans, we weren't supposed to apologize for anything. Obama is doing more to stop the terror masterminds than Bush/Cheney ever dreamed of. It might not get him re elected, but it isn't going to hurt his chances. And I'm sure a lot of the bad guys are looking nervously up to the sky these days.

    It's all fun and games landing in that nice big grassy LZ I saw in your video. Just wait. The time will come when you have to put that 97 down in a field between trees or a narrow road because of a bad spot. You'll be shitting yourself and crying like a little girl, wishing you had a different wing over your thick skull. Of course then there will be the time that someone gets really close to you near the ground. You'll forget what canopy you're on and toggle whip yourself into the ground. Or you'll eventually fly that 97 OK. You'll make it through some hairy corners and just pull it out. Your stupidity will write checks your abilities finally won't be able to cash. I had a friend just like you once. His tree at the DZ is almost big enough to have a picnic under by now...

    If you are a fiscal conservative, you would never want to be in a state with the death penalty. Kevin Cooper committed one of the most heinous crimes in California in 1983. He is still on death row after numerous very expensive appeals. What the states pay on a death penalty case would house the inmate for life, usually. There is also the ever so slight chance that the states could execute an innocent person. If you are a christian, you are against the death penalty. Right? The death penalty is not a deterent to anything. IMHO It's just a very expensive ordeal and a burden on the legal system. Most prosecuters don't want to try a DP case either. Our friend convicted Kevin Cooper. He has been in court for years at each appeal. I think the death penalty is a waste of time. Give them life. It also puts us in a third world mentality of executions. No matter what state you live in.
