grimmie replied to ASTKU's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
One of my favorite "this is what jumping is all about" pics. Ambergris Caye, Belize. http://aphidairdesigns.smugmug.com/gallery/3943592_XfxXC#229117337_ukMz3-A-LB Five ugly dudes and one cute girl! -

http://www.skydivebelize.com/Ferringto-Blue-Hole_cropped.jpg Nothing tops a 13,000ft freefall into shark infested waters capped off with a 140ft SCUBA dive. -
http://www.gerrycheevers.com/cheevers-bio.php I used to love watching him play for the Cleveland Crusaders of the WHA when I was a kid.

One of the talking head news guys said today that "Joe the plumber has given more interviews and knows McCain's policies better than Sarah Palin".
-
It was interesting to hear Powell's views on McCain and Obama. He said a vote for McCain would be four more years of Bush policy. He also was dismayed at Palin's pick as VP. Even Powell thinks the GOP has lost their way. Interesting interview today for sure.

I'm shocked...

You got picked last in gym class, didn't you?

No emotion makes for a very dull sport.

If they walked around emotionless, no one would tune in.

Jari Kurri...rookie!

Just what is that little scamp and the first dude hiding?

Kings are my local team, but we have stunk up the joint since Gretz left!

What ever happened to that Rudi Backhtiar girl from CNN Headline News?

Pens, since I was a kid. I used to watch the Cleveland Barons at the Coliseum before they went bellyup. I have brought this up before. We need a hockey boogie. There is a rink 40 minutes south of Perris. We jump all day and play a game of 'pick up' at night, followed by a viewing of "Slapshot'!

Couldn't they just let that kid they arrested hack them all and sort out the good stuff for us? He would do it for about $1 million for his pending legal fees! http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27228287

"Iraq, Afghanistan"..not a word...what the hell? -
The "25th" Lost Prairie boogie was the most incredible time ever. 1992. A few current DZ.commers were there. Epic. I would say more but the statutes of limitations aren't up yet! It's the boogie that made LP what it is today.

Never dived before, and have questions!

I would suggest driving out to your nearest skydive center and observing for a day. Phone them and ask to interview an instructor or manager first. An appointment will be much better than just showing up. -
NO! This can't be real. I was flying back from Reno tonight with another Perris jumper and we were talking about flying and I brought up Harry's name. I was going to phone him tomorrow about some airplane stuff. Harry was one of the good ones. Hugs Janna. Fly Free Harry...

Under Investigaton for Saying: Hussein Obama
grimmie replied to rickjump1's topic in Speakers Corner
Every "safety" civil servant in America has a SOP or General order stating that politics and the uniform don't mix. If one of his employees said the same exact thing while in uniform it would have been a disciplinary offense. It was a bullshit tactic, everyone knows it was a bullshit tactic, and nothing will come of it. McCain and Palin are sourdough and wheat, flaming in the toaster. -
