    Fifty of Harry's friends let him fly free ysterday over Perris. There were some very funny and heartwarming "Harry" stories told in the Bomb Shelter at dusk. Al Krueger spent hours going over Harry's log book and told us about milestone jumps over his life. Harry had a truly amazing skydiving life. At the end of the evening Janna got up and spoke. She held up amazingly well, and there weren't many dry eyes in the bar when she was finished. I'll miss Harry. I always knew when I saw him at the DZ we would laugh, jump and talk airplanes. Fly Free Harry...

    Ok alw. Here is the deal. If she appoints herself to that crooks Senate seat i'll still pay off, begrudgingly! $20 to the charity of our choices sound good?     $20 we never hear about Palin on a national political level again. Shake? The media would slay her, the Republicans are trashing her already and she won't overcome her lack of international knowledge in four years. Not to mention what the Democrats would do to her after this campaign. The GOP has to go in to the bunker and come up with a new plan.

    The days of 10 way speed out the door! The last 2 or 3 jumpers would be airborne before getting to the door! Many a jumper had "door bite" in those days. I miss jumping "Our Douglas' at Perris. Sparky, where is Jan flying it now? I saw him at Long Beach Airport once with it about 10 years ago.

    I recommend a "D" because we are in freefall over the water on each jump. The LZ is huge, but surrounded by few outs. We have had many participants with fewer jumps attend with an OK from their DZO or S&TA. Bring some common sense and a positive attitude and all will be well. The three major mishaps in four years were all done by jumpers with over 2,000 jumps each. Go figure. We follow strict safety rules, landing patterns and only put three groups out per pass nearly over top the LZ. Last year 1,112 jumps were done with one twisted knee and a little road rash on a skid in landing. Feel free to call me if you have any questions.
