Every gun owner should be a member of the NRA, right. The irony is priceless. Let it go.     Everything I know about Scientology I learned from an episode of South Park. That's too bad. I'd be willing to bet pretty much everyone who rags on it has no actual personal experience with it.     Because per the US Supreme Court, the police do not have a duty to protect any individual person, just the society as a whole. The individual person therefore has an obligation to protect themselves. Illinois needs a CCW Law. NOW.

Political carpetbagging is not a good thing. Why should I be punished for others' sins? Please. Answer that for me. Are you being punished? I don't care if you have a gun or not. Just face the fact that gun ownership comes with a price attached. Don't pretend that guns make society safer, it doesn't help your case if you delude yourself. Everything in life comes with a risk attached. I'm not interested in society being safer. I'm interested in my and my family's safety. Illinois needs a CCW Law. NOW.
