My first jump of Summerfest. I had a 9-way built around me. The orginizer Terry spotted. At break off altitude I turned and tracked. Pulled then did my control check after making sure my airspace was clear. Then I turned to face the DZ. As soon as I saw the DZ rising in my field of vision I knew I had no chance of making it back. I was looking around corn, powerlines, and a little grass strip along the road. A lovely roadside ditch. Turned in on final over the ditch had a nice PLF.
