Phenomenal boogie everyone! I had a great time (even considering the immense heat and humidity.) I'm sad to say that I did only one jump with the legendary Jimmy (the weatherman) C; however, considering that I was left quivering and incoherent for the next 24 hours...it was probably a good thing. Thanks Jimmy (oh, and my fellow LSPC club members too....) Congrats to two of the best people I know on getting married. It was the best wedding I've ever been to. _______________________________________ Oh, and one more thing...Ninjas ARE way cooler than pirates.

Wow -- questions about tunnels usually get valid responses! How weird! Since no one else has attempted to actually answer -- I'll give you my two cents Joe...but no guarantees that I actually know what I'm talking about I would say that , at the moment, the fastest tunnels would be Colorado (of course!) Eloy, and AirKix. Of those -- Colorado clearly has the coolest staff and best facilities

You can book with us via our website (the link so graciously posted above.) Or by calling 303.768.9000. _______________________________________ Oh, and one more thing...Ninjas ARE way cooler than pirates.

Just wanted to remind everyone that Night Sessions with Kirk and Gary are still available. The night flights are perfect for those who want to get some world-class coaching but can't make the whole camp. The sessions are 15 minutes and include a prebrief and a debrief. They'll be held every evening of the camp (this Friday through Sunday.) You could even get really wild and do four or five sessions ! Contact SkyVenture Colorado at 303.768.9000 or info@skyventurecolorado.com for more information. _______________________________________ Oh, and one more thing...Ninjas ARE way cooler than pirates.

Is it 1-on-1 only or possible to bring a piece-partner and work on block moves with a coach? I got some coaching with Kirk in Orlando a while ago and it was awesome. The answer is yes. You can bring a piece-partner. Jenn _______________________________________ Oh, and one more thing...Ninjas ARE way cooler than pirates.

PM me and I will get you Gary's email so you can ask him directly. By the way -- only three slots left!! _______________________________________ Oh, and one more thing...Ninjas ARE way cooler than pirates.

Letting go of Everything to Gain Something?
freeflyflunky replied to RkyMtnHigh's topic in The Bonfire
I think being tired makes me go post-happy! Third one tonight Anyway, this one if veryapplicable to my current situation...so I thought I'd give my .02. I just gave up a great (in other people's minds anyway) career, a house I owned, and living with my spouse, to move 800 miles from everyone I know, take a pretty significant pay cut, and rent again. So far it's been worth it. It's defintely scary at times -- but I just try not to second-guess myself-- or think about how scary it really is. The thing that keeps me going (aside from the fact that I love going to work!) is that although a lot of my friends and all my former coworkers said "what the hell are you thinking?" -- when I told my mom what I was doing and that I was scared she said, "good...scared is the best place to be." I didn't really understand what that meant in the moment...but since I've been living "untethered" for the last three weeks, it's started to sink-in. Before I was comfortable...now I'm not. I don't know if this makes sense, but right now life seems more real to me. Sorry to ramble (I usually don't stay up this late!) but I just felt like sharing what "letting go of everything" has been like for me. In all honesty, I wish I'd done this earlier. I just flew in the middle of winter -- and it was 80 degrees!
freeflyflunky replied to freeflyflunky's topic in The Bonfire
Alright...I know that I really should have put this in the wind tunnel forum -- but I just couldn't contain myself! I flew (for the first time) in the SkyVenture Colorado tunnel tonight...and it was AWESOME! Outside it was a chilly 37 degrees, and inside the tunnel it was a balmy 80!!!! We could have made it cooler...but it was pretty sweet to be able to get it that warm! Anybody for flying in shorts and a t-shirt in the middle of winter? _______________________________________ Oh, and one more thing...Ninjas ARE way cooler than pirates. -
I apologize for the late night post -- but I just wanted to let everyone know that this tunnel kicks ass! It was 37 degrees outside the tunnel tonight -- and, ya ready for this?....80 degrees inside!!!! How's that for climate control! It could have been a little cooler had they wanted it to be, but I guess that 80 felt just about right for a February flight _______________________________________ Oh, and one more thing...Ninjas ARE way cooler than pirates.

We are really lucky to be located near so many awesome restaurants. If you guys haven't checked out the neighborhood, you should really drive by and see what a fantastic location we've got! As far as the space in the tunnel itself goes -- as Kelli said, we'll have a great de-brief room available. I think you'll all also be surprised by the amount of room we'll have on the observation level. There will be plenty of space for everyone to get on the creepers, etc... And while I have nothing to really compare it to, I've heard that our ante-chamber itself is also really nice and spacious. _______________________________________ Oh, and one more thing...Ninjas ARE way cooler than pirates.

My favorite part is that I'm above Cory Does that mean you have to stop wearing that "Master of Poker" sash that you made yourself? I think you looked silly anyway Jenn P.S. Dave, did you see what I wrote last time about the poker book you got for Christmas...you might want to flip through it before tomorrow night. _______________________________________ Oh, and one more thing...Ninjas ARE way cooler than pirates.
