    Just an update, DNB Nord had some tape problems during the competition, which ment their videos couldnt be captured (jumps judged via their camera). But they've captured and uploaded the videos, so this monday Ill be putting a short 'highlights' video together quickly, and I'll also be uploading the full competition video shortly after that.     Yea..Id already seen those.. The rigid thing is a hybrid copy of Yves wing and Skyray. And the Atair suit (white) looks like an S3/Firebird copy.     An item on MSNBC a while ago also had quite a bit of footage just taken from various online sources. Wouldnt be a big surprise if not all footage was aquired through the proper channels. With a lot of people posting stuff online as theirs, its sometimes hard for broadcast agencies to try and trace the actual owner of the footage. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    The legstrap cant really be reached through the zipper (at least not on the demo suits we had in Spain), and only on one of the few people that demo-ed the suit, could actualy (with painfull fingers and lots of force) touch his hip-rings. Actually attaching and releasing a seatbelt seems a houdini-esque tour-de-force... Which would then only work with a shackle attachment, for a normal seatbelt you wouldnt need this. And even with shackle attachment, using the cheststrap or laterals to attach it seems like less effort.. Placing it the other way around also makes more sense (so the zipper with the little streamer birdman logo thingy attached doesnt pull open in the relative airstream). JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    On a weatherhold atm. (clouds from 1500 ft to 14k) We're off on a little scuba adventure in a bit. For people interested in the pictures and/or video, Gustavo will be posting pictures on his gallery on his website later (both his and David's) so you can browse through those and see if there are any pix you might want to have. I will be doing a big edit of the boogie, with all the wingsuit stuff and the awesome night out we had yesterdaynight.     Ive done over 500 wingsuit jumps now, and never, not one single time stowed the legwing. Just letting it hang and flap in the wind behind me works perfect...why put any effort into stowing it or using snaps or magnets or whatever to create a big hanging airscoop in front of your legs?     Why are you saying 'them' instead of 'us'...tempted to call you a typical American again Acceptance by the FAI is something for the whole dicipline..its not a race as to which continent or east/west coast group gets things right first...though I know its all been done in the USA bigger, better, faster, tighter and better before... If it was a race though, my money would be on the French..from De Guyardon to Loic to no ego flying, forward speeds and tightness in formations....they've always had the edge...     This is an oldie Just to clarify.. 'them guys'...not 'you guys' Im part of a team that flies under the Birdman name, but my all my gear has been payd for and aside from load organising for a DZ, I pay my own jumps. Im not a dealer, or in any way affilliated with any company in an official form, or recieving a single penny of income from that direction... All involvement up to now have been 'for the love of the game'..as is most stuff we do in the wingsuit niche market of our skydiving community.. Some testing from the drinking game arena, putting your ear between two of those magnets hurts like a bitch! JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    nice? The tighness on that formation puts all previous claims to 'tight' formations to shame. Even the two 'stray' birds are flying within a proximity most current bigway 'records' can only dream off. The base 9 way at the core is awesome! JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    I've seen more 'new' suits with exploded/torn/shredded wings than on the oldies that are still out there flying. I think the tears you're talking about are more likely to be the result of 8 or more years of loyal service on those suits, abused while teaching people to fly those first few jumps..     We've had some fun experiences here in Spain with peoples bar cards (with magnetic stripe) becoming unreadable, after spending one or two jumps in their pants/pocket (underneath their wingsuit) located under te cool 'rare earth magnets'. These things seem to do a pretty good job at erasing anything that used magnetic particles for data storage, so be carefull where you put your DV tapes and creditcards JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    It wasnt the thread. Its stitching that (under stress) pulled/ripped through a patch of fabric on the wing. A small update on the video, Im waiting for the Danish and Latvian team to send me their videos (where judged on camera, not captured) as I NEED those to finish the comp. video. As soon as I have those Ill be uploading a short highlights video and the full (+- 1 hour) competition video. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?

    Noop..its a normal Blade, gay scallops and all..     Here we go...(sorry it took so long) left to right: Tristan, Jeff, Patrick, Jarno, Kristina Taken from video shot by Costyn (his yahoo screams on video are hilarious). The formation was flown as a 4 way for 10 and 20 something seconds (broken into a 3 way at some point by some dive-bombers trying to dock) it flew as a 5 way for about 6 seconds . My (over)correcting on my arm prevented Kristina from docking sooner. Definately something we will try and work on in Spain to see how big we can build it And yeayea....Ill get to work on 'that other video' now.. JC FlyLikeBrick I'm an Athlete?
