There is generally organizing for RW as well so everyone is wlecome. I jumped lots last year and probably only had about 60 jumps so any experience level is welcome.

Cyber,Sad to say they put tarmac access right through the student area; however, it is still about as large as the landing area at Monroe and there are the two parts of it to choose from now. The C and D landing area is the same and you can always choose to land between the taxiway and runway or in one of the airport fields. Just stay out of Farmer McNasty's field...he is MEAN. Spectre could probably handle him but I prefer to land away from there. HUM...maybe Spectre could arrange to handle that for us. Andrea, I'll introduce you only if you promise not to take Clay seriously. Clay, you best be there Sat as I haven't seen you in forever. For anyone interested I usually stay at the Sun Inn in Barnesville. About $50 a night, but we fill up a room so it is not a big deal. Danny is a neat person just tell him I sent you and he should take care of you. Close to good food (Italian) and the liquor store (Danny owns that too!!). Sis should be up for one by then and I would love to meet and jump with one and all. Check flights as Delta and AA are big in both places. Kingie, I haven't forgotten you. I expect you to be here too. Anyone wanting to fly in we can arrange for you to be picked up in ATL on Friday or early Sat if you give me enough notice. Hope to see a large group of you with smiles on your faces and rigs on your backs!!

If you slept through all that you had passed out. When I left at 3:30 it was so loud I couldn't hear myself think. Everyone was swinging on that swing in the FF area, some of us were doing electric 8 ways minus a few people and trust me I screamed really loud several times, and several people were doing body shots. My ears were ringing still when I got up the next morning. I'll be getting a room everyone else do as you please.

Wahoo Andrea. Sounds like a plan. I'm going to be sick that Friday I can already feel it in my old bones!! Anyone that is planning on being there needs to think about getting a room as there is no bunkhouse. The loft at the DZ is a great place to stay but you won't get any sleep at all if it was like last year.

Something new they are doing with GA Tech is the way I heard it. It is going to be at the game to promote skydiving then at the festival (or maybe the other way around) for the rest of the time. Sorry I don't sound excited but I really hate heights and the tunnel camp I went to stressed that fact home with me. It should be a blast and a good learning experience.

Sorry TomCat sometimes my brain reads what it wants!! I haven't heard anything about the course either, but will ask when I get there this weekend. I could call but I'm too lazy.

The boogie in Monroe is Sept 21-23...Skydive Monroe The boogie in Thomaston is Nov 1-4...Skydive Atlanta Both are near Atlanta. I don't want you to miss out by going to the wrong place at the wrong time.

I agree for the most part Spectre. Most of my family gets on my nerve (and we all know I only have one) but I enjoy having my girls around. They are pretty cool at the DZ too!

MM, I know it feels like everyone is on you about the canopy size you have chosen. The reason is we do want you to be around for a long time to come. Granted the choice is ultimately yours to make but realize that we just want you to be safe. Feel free to explain your reasoning behind choosing the 169,your wing loading and the basis for your decision. There may be something we don't understand that is causing our concern, or there may be a point that need to be clarified before you order. Please don't take offense to this. I just want you to be around for a long time so we can eventually jump together. This Lisa has said enough.

I think if you make all that stuff legal then you would actually see a decline in its use because like was said earlier people do it more for the thrill of getting caught rather than the effect it has on you. I've never tried any of the above (lived a sheltered life) but I speed for the same reason. It is a game to see how many tickets I can get out of....and I'm good at it!!!

I've found jumping isn't painful unless you hit someone or something or screw up a landing; however, a belly ring has been quoted as being painful.

No that is HIS new name after I divorced him!! I changed my name back to my maiden name as a stipulation of the divorce. Got rid of him and his name....WAHOO. Clay I plan on being there this weekend as I really either need an altitude adjustment soon or I'm going to need an attitude adjustment. Friday night I'm going to have my belly ring done (unless I chicken out) and Sat I'm getting some culture...going to see The Phantom of the Opera. Flame away if you must.

You really make me appreciate the fact that we have an otter year round. I take for granted that we are so spoiled. I feel bad about fussing since we are sharing a super otter with another DZ...I should be thankful we have a regular otter when we don't have the super otter.
