Well....I DID practice it about 15 times and did it just like she told me to do it. I didn't know she was telling me wrong until AFTER I got on the ground and told the DZO I would NEVER do that again. That is when he learned the JM had never done it either! Thankfully since like jump #15 (that jump) I have been lucky enough to be a PLANE BITCH.

I HATE A CESSNA. I had no choice but to do my Hop and Pop from one. The JM had NEVER exited one so she told me to climb out, check in, go up then down and out. Well, the going up caused the door to come down on my head which pushed me into the step face first, but since I pulled my hands in the step caught my hands and ripped my borrowed NEW altimeter off my arm, which proceeded to velcro to my jumpsuit at the neck and flap in my face, so when I reached up to grab that and shove it in my jumpsuit I wound up head down with no idea how long I had been falling (it seemed like 10 minutes or so!) and no idea of my altitude since my alti was now near my waist inside my suit. Anyway I pulled withing 6 seconds and landed fine. On the debrief I refused flatly to EVER jump that plane again even if it meant I wouldn't get my license. I had to beg people to do night jumps when I was getting my D because they wanted to take the cessna and I refused. One day I may jump one again.....when an army can fit into one to push me out!

I gave up my top 10 spot and now I'm at 34......but there is lots more time to do other things.

Mike you know I love ya dearly. I simply haven't seen you on IM lately except when I'm getting ready to crash. I promise I'll let you know the next time and we don't even have to have video.

Hey JT..... I'm still here, just mostly lurking every now and then. I haven't been to SD ATL since the FFF in Nov because of weather, or obligations, or children, or trips to Deland. Like Andrea said I was in Deland this weekend. They all blame me for bringing the nasty weather, but it was beautiful in GA so I think it must have been the POPS that were there. Anyway, not much new is going on so I'm just hanging out . Lisa

Hey guys ... A friend of mine jumped with Pyke this weekend and relayed this to me tonight. Seems Tom (my friend) and Blaine were doing a 3 way on a very bad spot. Blaine pulled rather low for the spot and attempted to make it back with no success. Tom said he watched him turn toward a small field for landing when he realized he wouldn't make it back. I'm not sure exactly what happened but when he passed over some trees he either hit one or something happened to his canopy but anyway he wound up under a deflated main and hit pretty hard. Tom thinks he broke his femur and another bone but doesn't know which one. They did surgery Sunday evening is the last report I've heard. Blaine...you are in my thoughts and prayers. You guys have one problem...you're guys. I've been pulled over going 89 in a 55 in town with no excuse except that the top on the convertable top was down and the wind in my hair was wonderful and the CD was blasting. He pulled me over and asked about my skydiving bumper sticker, we laughed and joked for a few then he told me to be careful. That was the end of it. No ticket at all. Of course it did help that I had on a cute sundress!

Does racing the cars down the runway count as stupid? Not that I would ever take part in anything like that! My stang does quite well............

Justin.... I really don't care what you guys say to each other. All I was saying is I chose not to read it and since it was the "talk" of the forum and not related to anything I was interested in I chose to find other more productive things to do with my time. Also, it wasn't just you there was Clinton and all the crap and several other really off topic stupid stuff that did not hold my attention. Hi guys....that is sweet of you to check up on me Michele. Had a sick child for a few days but nothing serious ,and my grandmother fell and broke her hip and is now finally back up and around. I really just got tired of hearing people talk trash and flame each other for everything so I sorta quit reading and posting. It got to the point that people were simply posting just to be obnoxious and I just don't think I need that in my life so I "tuned out". I've been lurking some but not often. That made it impossible to catch up as there were thousands of posts to sift through. September 11 was a big wake up call for me and so I've chosen to surround myself with positive things rather than all the negative stuff so I made a conscious choice not to post or lurk for a time in hopes things would look up in the future. That is so cool. I was in the tunnel Sat too. We did some two way stuff before the 4 way got in. What a blast. We were just going to "play around".....do not go in the tunnel without a plan. I have bruises all over from crashing into each other. Just know that if you are afraid of heights the tunnel will effect you...I was much better Sat that I was the first couple times I got in.

Clay, I don't know if Tim post much anymore. He used to though. Building rigs ahs been keeping him pretty busy lately. BTW...he should be a good jumper since he has over 4000 jumps and has been jumping for 21 years! We did a kewl 4 way last jump on Sunday. 11 points including two that were turning pieces!
