I thought you were trying to teach Tom how to sit. Couldn't resist. I'm really just looking for ideas on what I can do when doing a solo to work on the backsliding and fallrate. I understand the dynamics of what you told me just can't put it to practice much and am not going to mess up someone else's jump just to work on it. Unfortunately for my addictive personality I've been introduced to freeflying so I've been working on my sit. I have a problem with backsliding in my sit. I've been told to push with my pelvis which I can see making a difference, but then it seems to make my fall rate slower. When I push with my feet to a stand the rate picks up but then so does the backsliding. Anyone know any good solo drills I can do to work on this? It is really hard to tell what I'm doing wrong unless there is a reference and they are hard to come by most of the time. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

Today is set up to be another scorcher as they predict a high of 103. Nothing like summer in the South. 103 in the shade and humid enough to soak you through your clothes in less than 5 minutes. I think I'll do nothing all day and enjoy it ....again. As for the jump plane the King Aire has AC and still climbs to alt in about 8 minutes.

I honestly can't believe this has worked out so I can go even for just a few days. I once told a special someone there would be no way I'd ever be able to swing it between the first week of school and my girls but I guess someone somewhere waved their magic wand and it is all working out. it is even more amazing that everyone has stepped up to help us out so we can go play.
