Sadly we come from falling to flying, to obviosly falling again.. Why not buy an old ballon suit from the 70`s! It is ridicoulus to watch these bigger and bigger suit pop up. But bigger is better right? Only in America, ha ha I declare war against the monsterfatsuits Wake up people! This is the era of human flying, not fat americans falling in stupid fatsuits! My god..

Thats not landing a wing suit, its more like falling in a bag down a shaft. Could also be done without the suit. The aerodynamics of the body without a rig will also be something to consider. Tests show a significant drop in lift. Maybe a month or two proximity flying cliffs will get him the nessecary skills and feeling with hitting/avoiding obsticals...? The Rio stunt was cool, but showed a big lack in understanding wingsuit flight in proximity. No offense.. Flying with a lot more hotizontal speed, less angel of attack and a different design of the tube/slide, would be my choice. The current setup is my last choice for sure. But, good luck!....

If you want to fly like a bird - buy a hangglider or a sailplane.. If you want to land your WS - Goodspeed.. You dont need much cash to make something new - Just a brain and a vision.. You dont need big wings - just speed.. Playing around in the sky or in the mountains is already fucking cool - Stop complaining and grow balls instead.. Having dinner at McDonalds every day, doesnt make you any more aerodynamic.. The human body is not a bird - but so what? Do you see any birds flying in at 250 -300 kmh horizontaly? or 550 kmh vertically? If the flockers could just start to straighten their legs and tilt their head a bit, maybe we could start making some interesting suits instead of the fat suit monster gliders.. Just my thoughts.. Just jump of fully relaxed, dont arch, but a bit dearched. Hands a bit out to the side, not over the head. Feel the air, dont fight it..

Maybe you should read it first? And then tell me where the air has the greatest speed, under or over the wing? Where would you place the inlet to get higher pressure? What has the stagnation point to do with this? You asume it will be on the front of the leading edge? With the high aoa you fat americans fly? The you should definately read it again.. You are. But you dont think...

Why cant people start making suits with good air intakes? I dont know about you guys, but I am trying to fly horizontaly. And therefor I want my intakes to be placed where the air has the highest speed during a horizontal flight. And by at least adding scoops over the intake, you can get more air in to the suit, to make sure the wings get the propper pressure at all times. Especially for a suit like that, made for aerobatics. To have a fluttering bodybag around you is not what I want, fooling around in the mountains/sky. But its a proto, so I guess they`ll figure it out...

Sill the body creates the most of the lift. And therefor the shape of the body is very important. Most rigs today make the body as aerodynamic as a brick.. Some have understood the importance of a good profile over hte body, and started making more aerodynamic rigs. And belive me, you will fell the difference in speed and thus lift, if you have a smooth profile. To make wingsuits with better prifiles, airfoils etc, is to start in the wrong end. Start with the body/ rig and then think of the suits.. Take care

Guess what we ran into crossing the river to our local big wall, the Trollwall... My god that was some scary shit! Almost took my leg of too, but managed to finish the hike and made beautifull jump! No zoom used taking the photo.. Be carefull out there..
