Part of the "Blame America First" crowd huh. All of the bad stuff that happens to us is our own fault, don't blame anybody else. As for international opinion of the US. 3,000 people protesting in the UK against war with Iraq is not significant, but it gets a lot of press. This isn't a popularity contest either. We have got to do what is in our best interests even if some other countries disagree with it. Other countries do what is in their best interest. If we take issue with them then we have to do something politically or economically to change their minds. That is how the world turns. I have to agree with Billvon on this thread. We need to stay with economic and political pressure as long as possible. The threat of war is the only thing that has made Iraq move and we have to keep up the pressure in that area, but it doesn't mean we have to go to war. You can report this to your local FBI office. The problem is that if you haven't lost any money to the scam then it will be very low priority. The good thing is you might accidentally help out someone who has lost money to the same exact scam (by providing additional evidence). Well Jack, I have read the posts that slice and dice Christianity. I never said anything about "attacking" Christians. Slicing and dicing is slang for analyzing but there are plenty of attacks too. That is a nice theory (I've heard it) but most historians disagree with him. There are doubts and inconsistencies and differing opinions on the Bible just like with any other historical writing that is 2,000 years old. You either choose to believe or not. God has given you that right. It is said more than once in the Bible that you have to believe on faith alone. If you could prove the existance of God you wouldn't need faith. If we had four people independently tell the same story (except for small differences like the number of Angels in the tomb) about an event, how likely would it be that they are telling the truth? This is what happened with the Gospels. I'm sure you'll claim that they "conspired" and wrote them but history doesn't support that fact. In the Bible homosexuality is a sin. Just like adultery, lying, stealing, murder, etc. In God's eyes no sin is greater than another. According to the Bible we have all sinned and we will all sin again. It also instructs you to love your neighbor and treat everyone as Jesus treated them. Jesus didn't call the prostitute that he met names or treat her bad. He treated her with respect and loved her anyway. So, if someone chooses to be gay, that is between them and God.
