  1. I hold that too, asshole! PhD/MBA. And not from the University of Arizona. Dimwit!!! P.S.: Now, here you have a personal attack! Try a few decades at USDB Leavenworth... Nelson Mandela; South Africa. Aung San Suu Kyi; Burma Thomas Mapfumo; Zimbabwe Benazir Bhutto, Pakistan; Antonio Gramsci, Italy. I could go on and on and on. Except that You are lacking any basic education to even begin to understand what I am saying. You might want to petition your government for a BASIC EDUCATION? Nice Personal Attack. Actually, I hold a Doctorate. Thank You for Playing!

  3. I surely hope so. Freedom, recognition, honors!! This young man alone has done more for US than all of the last two administrations combined!!! He has taken the stance...
  4. I am not sure I understand your outrage. After all, there is not that much difference between Iran and present-day US; if you know what I mean. And it is not like the US is not going after alleged spies/ conspirators, like the Rosenbergs, Sacco and Vancetti, or Bradley Manning. WHAT"S YOUR POINT?
  5. I believe that it was initially reported that he was a dual Iranian/ American citizen. If that indeed is true, per international law, his American citizenship does not matter when he is on Iranian ground. He is Iranian, and that's it! Just as I am a German/ American citizen. But when on German soil, I am solely considered a German citizen! When on American soil, I am solely considered a US citizen. And the German embassy will be of no use to me!!! P.S.: And when in a third-party country, I can both call on the US and German/EU embassies.
  6. I once ran into a girl named Renee Marrime. She happily changed her last name as soon as she got hitched.
  7. Is there any subject that you are not an expert of???? Or any subject where the world would be a better place w/o your valued input? Let's come up w/ a list of 2-3 things where the world does not need your input! Maybe Iran, foreign countries outside of TX, gun issues and rights. Of course, you could well contribute to topics such as animal husbandry, rattler recipes, and incest. It would be difficult but not completely impossible to physically block the straight; some mines and a couple of Silkworm batteries at the 50km choke point and you've got a pretty effective blockade. With the largest supertankers having drafts of 20m or more, it wouldn't take too many being sunk to put a serious crimp in the amount of traffic that could pass.
  8. Gingrich (Cobb Country), and our recent governors. Ultimately, though, the blame rests w/ voters. They get what they deserve/ voted for! SAD!!!!
  9. Lame! What places have you taken yourself to recently? Other than your suburb and county? I mean you are even afraid of high-speed train travel. Suffice it to say that, in your opinion, it doesn't work. Not for Germany. Or France. Or Spain. Or Japan. Or China!!! I really despise you and the narrow-mindedness for which you stand! WHAT ARE YOU AFRAID OF??? reply]He's describes himself as compassionate. And this is the sort of compassion he's trying to teach his kids. He's a swell and caring guy about everyone. Just ask him and he'll tell you.
  10. +++111. I am ready to divorce mn***tx, whatever his fucking handle is, and lawrocket. Get them out of my country!
  11. BINGO! I am all for it. And I am American.
  12. I have no time to play today. But let's keep the thread alive!!! And "lawrocket" on a count-down to take off...like 10,9, 8, 7, 6,6,6,6,6,.. :) Well, he never will take off to anywhere, subservient that he is! Over and out! Don’t I know it. And cost. That’s part of the issue: if Amtrak is any indication of the cost of a trip, it’s not looking good. By way of example, let’s say it’s 2020 and gasoline costs $8.00 per gallon. I want to go from Fresno to SF. Me, wife and four kids would likely end up running me around $1,000 round trip for the fares. (This is kind of a conservative estimate, actually). Versus a couple of hundred dollars for fuel, the family economics aren’t there. My concern is that the high-speed train will become like the Concorde. An expensive proposition for the sake of speed that makes available to only an upper class. Or, in order to make it accessible to more, massive subsidies would kick in. The planned route would head south from SFO to Gilroy and cut east through Pacheco. Says it’ll make the trip from Gilroy to Fres-yes in under 40 minutes. Even I agree that’d be pretty sweet. Of course, next time you’re in Fres-yes let me know. I’ll take five minutes and show you everything it has to offer. At a reasonable price. That’s the primary issue. Thus, it’s a train that would also have a separate incentive. I’d advertise it easily, “Going to Las Vegas? Get there and back faster. Easier. Cheaper. Drunker!” It’d sell out all the time.
  13. Enjoy! I hope that you took good care of your employees, just as they took care of you! In the end. We are ALL in this together! I'm rich. Retired, so I don't work, either. So what?
  14. So you are getting your panties all in a wad over taxes?:)
  15. When adults are having a conversation, you just need to shut up! Have I made myself perfectly clear?
  16. I am not rich!! Are you?? I am trying to bring up my kids as compassionate human beings. As responsible participants in our society. To the point that they wipe your ass, w/o you dangling a $1k bill in front of you! But, solely, just because you are another human being...Eventually you will need help! So, what have YOU contributed lately?
  17. No, really not! Maybe that's your impression simply because I am not living in Kansas anymore. And never have! You think these guys were trolling? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0Y6DNfBgiY
  18. Now, let's be real here! You wouldn't exactly expect that from ANY lawyer and certainly not from this individual. Facts don't matter, only his agenda!
  19. BV, now you are !! But really, the American way is not sustainable. Every fourth-world nation (like Afghanistan) kicks the butts of our X-Box warriors. At a price tag of $$$$$$ dollars. Meanwhile, in my street I have a pothole 10 in. deep! Try to circumnavigate that in a Nissan Cube. And at the same time, we are supporting a "money aristocracy", mirroring exactly what we see w/ North Korea's "power aristocracy." It is nuts! And just like North Koreans, Americans outdo themselves wailing and mourning for the rich! And that includes YOU....
  20. My point is that it does not need to be that way. In a society w/o the superrich, everybody can live comfortably. If that means 90% taxes, so be it. Heck, the US has not produced a car that it can sell outside of its own borders (GM, Ford, Chrysler). One of the most successful companies worldwide, Volkswagen, "People's Car", has now taken steps to restrict availability of their workers by e-mail beyond working hours!! IMAGINE!!!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-16314901 P.S.: Black-Eyed Peas. War Song! That's how the world and even some in the US, see us! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0Y6DNfBgiY Why don't you refocus on your thread a minute. You will lose the big dick contest here any way, it is the internet after all. Your idea has flaws, big flaws, see them yet? Matt
  21. You finally show your true bearings as just another imperialist pig suckling dry the breasts of the working class that feed you! I am ready to become a martyr in the pursuit of happiness for all! Not just the well-to-do. Go ahead and ban me, torturer!!! P.S.: This is just too much fun.
  22. Do as you please. After all "Texas is like a whole 'nother country." Lived in Harris County, I understand. Best wishes to you and Texas. I am done w/ this thread. Too many village idiots! Uh-huh...you must have missed the part where taking everything that 'the rich' have would pay this year's deficit...so who do you rob *next* year?
  23. Well, once all the rich have been robbed, they are no longer rich! And the poor, will be longer poor! But everybody will have enough and we'll all be better off... Go pack your ball of crap! It's disgusting!:)
  24. Yes, a cohesive society is a good goal. If you can't walk around freely in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, any time, day or night, because of "class warfare" brought on by abject poverty and lack of opportunities. We have enough wealth in this country! It just needs to distributed more evenly! P.S.: Works great for the Scandinavian countries and most of Europe. Ever seen a high-speed train in the US??? Or a decent US-engineered (Ford, GM, Chrysler) car? SO cohesiveness is your goal? Nothing says "cohesiveness" like equal misery for all.
  25. Well, if we had a proper tax rate in place, like 90% (incl. inheritance) for everyone above $100M, no loopholes, it'll all be a more cohesive society! What I have done??? Probably more than you ever will! It's never about what he can do. Or what we all can do. It's always about what someone else should be made to do.
