Every time the Feds have ventured into the waters of entrepreneurship to be intrusive, they usually end up cutting the fuel off to the revenue engine. If you want a union with your significant other, fine. Heterosexuals have that. However, I believe what he was getting at is that gays should not have college funds or anything special provided to them based on sexual preference. I mean that only makes sense. I can understand programs for minorities if they didn't have the equal opportunity to acquire benefits, but when the phrase "I prefer" comes into play, special benefits should not be factored into the equation. How can you prove who is eligible?? Have a test??? I'd sure like to see who volunteers to administer that test. There were occupation forces in both those countries for quite a few years afterwards. Correct, and in those few years those countries did not have their political freedom. Just as Iraq does not now have its political freedom, and will not until our occupation ends. The presence of coalition forces will end when the terrorists are completely beaten. Stop attempting to provide them with a time table to exploit against us! The facts are the terrorists cannot beat us militarily.
