I dont know the actual tem of my coldest.. but here in indiana it does get down there and I am sure I have jumped in some pretty nippy temps. anyways the only thing I hate about cold jumps... gloves I hate having stuff on my hands.. either wear the gloves and not feel everything, or not and some down with two stumps on the ends of your arms.. -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

I think it helps emensly... simply because it will help you to relax.. flying hd is something much easier to do when you are not tense.. when I was first learning I would start with my plan from exit.. I would ALWAYS exit on the exhale and kindof flop out like a dead fish.. then go to my body position and keep trying to relax.. it worked for me...but who knows.. I exited on the exhale so I would have to breath... -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

I have been published in 4 magazines and 3 books for my artwork (By trade I am an artist at least thats what my undergrad is in) and umm.....yeah thats probably everything:) -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

I learned that sometimes you jsut have to say no to jumping....altitude was too low for me (others got out) but I decided to ride the plane down. then on the next jump I had some funky line twists that took me a bit to get out of..not to mention I was terminal so who knows what could have happened on a hop and pop with little alti to play with.. :) -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

well I am not a fan of the cobalt. the samuri seemed more twitchy and more ground hungry.. the cobalt had much lighter front riser pressure and if I remember correctly about the same toggle stroke. the cobalt 120 that I jumped (with exit weight about 190-200) had no bottom end flare. I couldnt swoop the thing worth a damn.. perhaps it was my own input, but I can get pretty long swoops out of other stuff similar. maybe it is the design of the canopy itself. Perhaps it just needs flown differently?? I am not sure.. with as many jumps as I have had on it I thought that I should be able to figure it out ok, but I couldnt really fly the cobalt in the range that I wanted to or that I fly other canopies in... anyways if you are deciding between those 2 specificly i would suggest the samuri...more so the crossfire 2.. that is an awesome canopy... -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

When I was in high school a couple of friends and I went on a venture to make our own.. it never made the news or anything being how small it was (only about 200 feet in diameter) it was pretty complex though.. all you really need is a 2x4 some rope and a plan with a touch of patience.. we accomplished it in about 2.5 hours and I thought it was pretty cool.. we did it in corn too (I live in indiana) anyways I think that most of them could be accomplished by people....is there other life out there??? I think so...have they visited us and left signs but never confronted us??? maybe maybe not... I would definately like to take a tour of area 51, but my guess is it wont happen anytime soon:) -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

She started at 85k...now after 4 months she recieved her own store and makes about 94... so that side is fairly covered. the great thing is we have an awesome relationship. and trust me this decision didnt come lightly. for the past 2 years I have been contemplating graduate school (I am an artist so the only thing that would really do for me is open the option of teaching college level art) while that is an honorable job it still doesnt pay much (even once you get tenure sp?) so after my passion has grown emensly and the option arose to "cut away" we decided that this is the life we want to live. as far as the ratings go I do have alot to do this year.. I know I can get my coach s/l instructor and possibly aff by the end of next season and once relocated I can get my tandem. being a videographer will also help. so it boils down to this is the life I want and as of right now I have the means to do it.. so my question is.. why the hell not?!? if it doesnt work I am still young and either way it will be a great experience. anyways thanks for all of your comments...ill definately keep all posted on my journey:) -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

I drive almost every weekend...it takes me about an hour and 20 minutes from fishers (yuppie town just north east of indy) and that is with the detours because 70 is under construction on the eas side. anyways hope to see you here! -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

well thats the cool thing..
