since when do you know what a big way belly dive is??? I thought the only time you are on your belly is pull time:) anyways thats how I am also.. I say dictch the rw suit to get a freefly suit. depending on your weight get one that is custom made maybe not quite as baggy so you can belly dive also..that is if you want to. thats what I did, and well its helping me to learn how to slow fall head down more. This helmet has saved me from a couple incidents where if I had no helmet I could have been hurt (mid air collisions). It was reasonably priced and side mounted video is great. the top mount is pretty small which makes it hard to mount a still camera (or top mount video) without additional hardware made (usually by you) to make the platform larger. all in all I like the helmet, and now that I am not using it for a camera helmet it is great. the dial to tighten it works great to give it a "snug" fit. after many times of tightening it, though, I did have to tighten the strings inside to get it to work again. my opinion: buy it!

I hear space balls are fun, but untikl you have a proficient ball master jsut go with 2 ways with one person holding base and not moving around. that will help your skill jsut as much and well unless they other guy doesnt pull you wont have any craters to worry about as far as belly balls 101 pennies with 2 1/2" pullup cord worked well... still dont suggest it on belly unless you KNOW you can get it before 6000 feet agl.... hope all goes well.. k _________________________________________ this space for rent.

I had a frind make a ring that is 18 inces in diameter and is copper tubing.. then I took one of those fanoodle things for swimming pools (the floaty tubes things) and cut it down the center and wrapped it around the copper.. this way if I have to ditch it and it hits something it wont do much damage.. 18 feet long is a good lenth.. you want it longer than you lines so it bumps up against the material on opening rather than getting stuck in your lines. if its a handheld keep it in your left hand and durring opening push it behind you so once you are in flight it is behind you and your canopy rather than going thru your lines. cool.. laters _________________________________________ this space for rent.

I think you were talking about me short bus: about my 149.. I had the line mod and also my friend blew the tail section out of one of the end cells.. after being fixed I now have to roll the nose on it to get the damn thing to snivel.. also afer a 90 riser turn I can lift myself out of the harness on the opposite riser. I tried the 119 crossfire 2 and it was amazing.. definately my next canopy.. whatever all icarus did to the new crossfire it helped tremedously and is a totally new canopy. I am actually surpized they kept the same name.. I demo'd the 119 CFII at richmond.. it was amazing.. definately my next canopy. the riser pressure was almost as light as a cobalt (I would achieve 180-360's at altitude without too much of a streign. snivels were long, just like the CFI. turns were much sharper (shorter toggle stroke). flare was great. The crossfire 2 also was very responsive to harness turns..( I was loading it at 1.79) even though the sweet spot is technically at 1.85 I could get some hella swoops out of it with a 90 carver. it dove very long. more so than the crossfire 1 (which was long in my opinion.) Simon said some of the reasons for the increased performance are a new plane form shaping (much like the saber II) a shorter toggle stroke (which also gave it faster turns, but with the new plane form shaping it did not compromise the long dives. the recovery arc was easy to pull out of and easy to keep it diving with a little shift in the harness. anyways thats my input....I loved it and it will definately be my next toy! -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

ok I was packing this weekend and packed up for a friend..he had a pull out pilot (pud) and I had never done one before.. someone showed me how to do it and didnt watch..well I got it all right accept I had a twist in the bridal between the pud and the pilot shute which resulted in a total! he is ok..used his reserve and laughed about it..unfortunately I now have to fork 140 for a new javlin poptop and free bag:(:( ahh well I know now how to do it, but boy did I feel like a complete ass...just glad he is ok.. -kevin _________________________________________ this space for rent.
