I finally got my wife to enjoy skydiving (she did her first 2.5 yrs ago and second at the richmond boogie with my brother as the tandem master) and now she wants to get her licence! I am moving to houston next week! I have great skydiving friends (whom Ill miss when I am in houston) umm thats all -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

I was able to sit stable without moving or anything after about 10-15 tries... I suppose after about 50 or so i could move around and vary fall rate, and after 100 or so sit jumps I could dock, transition, move all around, and feel very comfy flying with several other people in a sit... it will vary for everyone though...if you jump with people who are better than you will prob learn a bit faster...also get as much video as possible to se what you are doing, its a great tool -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

well I have been to spaceland once...just checking things out... my new place is about 3/4 of a mile west of down town houston (musuem/ montros district) so that makes spaceland about 35 min away, which I cant beat with a stick considering I drive 1.5 hours currently to get to skydive wayne county in richmond, in. I plan to get around to quite a few in the general area, but I am sure spaceland aill be my new home... looking forward to being a Texan....YAWL! -yoshi ps...sorry had to add the YAWL to get in spirit:) _________________________________________ this space for rent.

I have jumped the crossfire (which is my primary canopy) and about 30-40 jumps on a stilletto... I like the short toggle stroke of a stiletto, but the dive is what makes the crossfire the canopy for me. as prev said the stil. has a shorter recover arch...I would say if someone had the same sized canopy and the same number of jumps on both that the crossfire may go a bit further.. it is mostly the pilot, where I have met people whith stil. that can swoop much further than me on my crossfire, but the crossfire is more "swoop attentive" in my optinion... the combination of the bottom end flare and the dive characteristics make me feel like it is more of a "swoopy" canopy than the stil. I have no idea abotu the nitron although I have seen a few get some pretty nice swoops... -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.

I sure was there. thats when shortbus got his little road rash experience when he fell off the creeper at about 25mph.... I took one ride on the creeper and then you and dan were trying to go "tandem" (I was driving remember) when we broke the second creeper. as far as fun I thought this boogie was a blast... I got there fri morning and still managed to make 14 jumps... wish it was better weather, but I still had a great time, met some great people, and had some hella cool parties.... -yoshi _________________________________________ this space for rent.
