    Do you have ANY idea the hours he puts in or EVERYTHING he does. How many instructors out there pay all their taxes? No one is making them be instructors and its no secret and never has been that if you CHOOSE to make your living skydiving you will live below the poverty line.     What makes you think nothing is still going to happen to the others? It's not too late to discipline the other 2. What is really bizarre about the others is WHY would you want to do Tandems ever again, after losing a passenger.     Right idea. I think a video of hook turns gone bad should be made available and shown to everyone that is downsizing or deciding they are good enough to do hook turns. It would have more impact on people if they can see the blood and guts and bones sticking out, not to mention that neat sound it makes when someone hits the ground real hard.     I was told the year I voted for Ross Perot that I "threw my vote away". That really pissed me off. I didn't vote for either of the others because I didn't like them. They didn't represent what was important to me. I vote to let them know that there are those that don't want them in office. I find it bizarre that people won't vote because they don't think the candidate they vote for will win. Even if they don't it shows the candidate that does win that XXX amount of people didn't vote for me, and hopefully they will ask why. The senate race as turned extrememly ugly in Tennessee and neither the Democratic or the Republican will get my vote. I will vote but not for either of those whinny hateful cry babies.     Oh and the Fireworks were incredible. I haven't seen a fireworks show that big in like ever. Pumpkin drop was fun to watch. I can't believe no one could hit the target from a helicopter.     What punishment do YOU think he deserves. He uses them as a prop in the Jacko show. Very unprofessional and uncool. They don't know better. All the capabilities of human flight can be displayed without putting the customer in danger. Show them freeflying. Much more impressive than the Jacko show.     Or maybe Jako could plead his case in person at the next board meeting. In fact, you could all show up. I don't want to hear about it costs money to go, blah blah blah. When I wanted something from the BOD, I saved my money to go to the BOD meeting to state my case in person. Showing up can make a difference and if he is as wonderful as you say he is, then maybe he can get his membership and AFF rating back. He shouldn't ask for his TM rating back - at least not for a few years. Jako's TM ratings needs to be pulled. Maybe taking the AFF and membership away was a little over the top, but his actions, to some, were WAY over the top. Because he had been doing this so long he has shown consistant lack of good judgement. No one cares how nice you are when your actions are a danger to others.     Maybe someday Jacko can ask to get his back someday. He deserves to be punished some way for some period of time. Its funny how you accused Jan of using dz.com to rally the jumpers against jacko but you are trying to do the same to rally for him. If you found it sooo wrong then why are you doing it?     I am instructor at a weekend only dz. I love it. I have a real job with real wages. Instructing suplements my non-working jumps and allows me to do coach jumps for free (which I know really pisses off the "full timers" at other dz's). Its been no secret tha tif you try to make a living skydiving, you will live below the poverty line. I, am not willing to live like that, which is why I have a full time job outside of skydivng. As far as starting a union, who would be the the Union represenative, how much money would you have to give up for union fees. Unions are the downfall of america.     Nope, sorry, wrong. Don't know the guy but from what I've seen I don't like. I don't think they should have their tandem rating back if their student falls out of the harness. If I was caught doing it alot, yes. Why would I want to go out side the manufactures recommendations? I wouldn't. Have no need to. If his actions weren't in question then no discipline would be needed. You have alot of blah blah blah in some of your posts. We are not talking about driving a car or airline pilots we are talking about the actions of a certain tandem master. Its kinda like you are trying to draw away attention from the matter at hand. I don't believe he has shown very good judgement on his part, nor has the DZO's that have witnessed and done nothing about it.
