What's a better analogy for Wuffos?

...Yea I would expect that from you, call me up when your testicals drop and Ill explain it to ya then -
Not that Im an expert, but I would think it would depend on how much you were loading it as well as how severly the canopy was distorted. line twists can be caused for a couple of reasons, I would think (as I said no expert) the most frequent bad body position on opening. if you distort any canopy enough it will turn... that being said I would think as long as you are not loading the canopy more than 1.3 or so that the turn would be slow enough not to cause a problem. Im loading my eliptical at 1.3ish and have had line twists a couple of times. once it began to turn, but I only had 1 twist and was out of it before 1 revolution, and the others, it opened with twists and continued to fly foreward no turning, or slight turning. on student rigs Ive had severe line twists to the point I couldnt raise my head and the canopy keeped flying foreward, but then again I was only 120lbs jumping a 288 f111

trying to plan my vacation for next year... anyone know anything about the freefall convention in 08 is there gonna be one, and dates?

pilot chute is 24" zp kill line
-
oh it snivels fine as i said it is the initial snatch part that was the problem. i got it with 50 jumps on it and it has always been this way so i seriously doubt lines are the problem

it is either before it is out of the bag or immediatly on center cell opening I cannot tell.

So I need some advice. I've been jumping a heatwave 170 for a while now, and it has always given me hard openings. not enough to knock the wind out of me but stiff. so I've been tossing the idea of slider pockets etc... around. then I started thinking about it. when packing I roll the nose, pull the slider out over the nose, push the nose into the canopy then pull oll the stabilizers over the nose. this gives me slow opening, but i still feel like im getting cracked. it feels like the initial transition from belly to initial deployment from the bag may be where the problem is as it snivles quite well after bag deployment but I get slammed when it first comes out of the bag. is this a pilot chute too big problem? I also have tried rubber bands, tube stows, makes no difference.

wasnt much of a relationship just a booty call i thought all was well then I told her I was going out on a date with someone else, she got pissy with me so whatever. now she wants the truck back women are so much a pain in the ass i think im going gay, now if i could get over the whole attraction to men problemJ/K
-
I mentioned that she said consider it a truck rental fee. she isnt going to be happy unless she gets it back. Im thinking fuck her, but as I said dont want to deal with her being all psycho at work.
-
she gave me the title, and signed it as I said she gave me the truck with the intentions of me keeping it. the title has been transferred to mr and is in my name, i bought insurance, and fixed up the truck
-
So here is the deal I was given a free truck by someone, after 2 months of me having it, and putting $$ into it she is asking for it back. which is a no brainer just outright no. the problem is she works at a hospital where I frequently visit, and I dont want to have a bad working enviroment. so what should I do? P.S. she is asking for it back because our relationshit didnt work out.

for what its worth I had 2 friends that bought them, both crapped out and both were sent back, both had new xboxes at the door within 2 weeks, warrenty dont last forever though

It is in every living creature to be afraid of death unless you are completely mental, there is always some deep down feelings about it, some of us just refuse to allow our emotions to effect how we choose to live our lives noone in the skydiving community can say they were not afraid at one time or another otherwise there would be no endorphine high thus no fun. that being said you can get used to anything. just my .2C

Heh I had a chick one time suspected od faking unconciousness basicly dumped a bunch of pills around her and played unconcious (yes we know if u r faking it is our job) anyway she would wake up for ammonia but then "pass out again" so I told her to she was full of shit and this wasnt the first time I played this game. she came up off the strecher screeming ripped out her IV and informed my "honky ass" that I knew nothing about this game and I was the "dumbest fucking cracker she had ever seen" I about shit myself laughing at her which of course only pissed her off more had to get the cops to come restrain her I luv the angry ones

Heh I used to wax the cessna when I was 16 for free jumps -
I packed on my 3rd jump and they made me jump it had someone show me then watch me and when I was done they said ok go jump it. that being said try not to do too many new things at once I.E. new rig new canopy, new pack job etc... could lead to trouble
