    Of course I do and I see where you are headed. Insurance is the sharing of costs across the group that is insured. That's not the same as having someone else pay for your insurance. At the same time, I am not saying there is not a substantial part of the population that should have their health insurance paid for.

    Spin it how you like. FACT is that the percentage of insured Americans is now the highest it has ever been, thanks to ACA. And it would be even higher if not for GOP obstructionism just for the sake of thwarting Obama. Your statement should read: FACT is that the percentage of insured Americans is now the highest it has ever been, thanks to other people paying for it. I'm not saying that is all bad. We need to pay for some people that can't afford it. The question is how many and which ones do we pay for? All of these stats about whether Obamacare or Trumpcare covers more is missing the fundamental question of who should pay for health insurance for the people that don't currently have it.

    There you go. That's nice and simple. On what date, in each and every pregnancy, does the fetus become a person that has rights? While we are at it, what characteristics or criteria define that conversion from tissue to person?

    When does this moment occur? Does each and every person become a person at this same moment? Do we rely on the Supreme Court to tell us when this moment is?

    So, once machines are not required, it's no longer OK? What about an hour before machines are no longer required. It will be OK, then? Some babies born at full term require machines to survive outside the womb. Would it be OK to abort them at full term? What if it's a big machine vs. a small machine? Does that come into play?

    This is one of the few sensible things said on this topic in this forum. The first question that must be answered about abortion is: At what point along the continuum of conception to birth does a human life begin? Everything else is obfuscation.
