  1. Yes, yes, and yes. If true Harward has more brains that the rest of the trump sec. council put together. When you take these considerations into account. It makes you question the intelligence of Pense and Priebus. How many times will they be hung out to dry. Made fools of. Before "pressing family matters" cause them to give up the madhouse..er..WH.
  2. Nothing less than bannon pandering to the base. Institute the order, have ICE hand over a couple "examples" for deportation. Then shut it down. All plays good to the trump base. Then cooler heads thought it might be a bad idea and was abandoned. The cooler head remains unidentified. Perhaps the "leaker".
  3. Man, the next four years are gonna be fun on here. According to the doctor: ""He may be a world-class narcissist, but this doesn't make him mentally ill, because he does not suffer from the distress and impairment required to diagnose mental disorder," Frances wrote." But he fails to recognize that a super narcissist, like trump. Can never feel personal distress because his ego overcompensates for his super narcissist behaviors. Sorry almost three dozen doctors trump one. If you'll pardon the pun. A conscious would also be necessary to feel " significant distress or impairment". To the damage he causes to himself, those around him, the country and the world. Clearly his endless tweets about his lack of popularity vr other Presidents, failure to win outright victory at the polls, failures in office with regards to implementation of promises. Recent polling: http://www.people-press.org/2017/02/16/in-first-month-views-of-trump-are-already-strongly-felt-deeply-polarized/ Prove the diagnosis of the 33 professionals.
  4. I'm starting to feel sorry for poor Harrison now.
  5. Your three posts show a very very dangerous trend. Between FBI overtime chasing down all these nutjobs. trump flying off golfing every weekend. The $500k a day for trump Tower N.Y. for security. That should take care of all the savings of deregulation and throwing the EPA in the trash bin. Well at least the US will be White Again! oh... and male!
  6. Or maybe that is the WH strategy: http://www.businessinsider.com/white-house-handling-of-controversial-plans-2017-2 How about a conflict when bannon figures out a Pense supporter programmed the copier to auto-fax his print jobs to the NY times? When miller figures out that his PC emails everything to the Washington Post.
  7. IMO the concept of using either a 747 or trumps 757 is such a stupefying environmental waste. When a Gulfstream or a Cessna jet would suffice. I wonder if trump believes this train of thought that the national security agencies are controlled or been systematically infiltrated by "Islamist's"? I can't be bothered to explore this concept of thinking/thought. Does anybody have quotes from trump to such effect? Or from the mouths of bannon and/or miller?
  8. According to this the US is not that democratic: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_Index Not the best country: http://www.usnews.com/news/best-countries/overall-full-list Not the best Health care: http://thepatientfactor.com/canadian-health-care-information/world-health-organizations-ranking-of-the-worlds-health-systems/ Soon to be NON-WHITE: http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2016/03/31/10-demographic-trends-that-are-shaping-the-u-s-and-the-world/
  9. If readers are in a hurry they can skip to the bold type-faced paragraph at the bottom. It certainly seems as if BO, HRC, MR. Soros, etc. are still the boogeyman for the Breitbart trump crowd. This PAC: "Capt. Joseph R. John, USN (Ret), the Chairman of Combat Veterans for Congress PAC, writes that members of the Muslim Brotherhood and its Islamist front groups have become “a very dangerous ‘Fifth Column’ in the United States, appointed by Obama to very high and sensitive positions in the US Government agencies.” http://usherald.com/video-radical-islamist-american-government-panic-trump-announced-cleaning-hous/ On their PAC website the Chairman of Combat Veterans for Congress PAC, writes "Muslim Brotherhood “Massive” Government Infiltration While Stigmatizing Government Employees With "Islamophobia" "For nearly 8 years Obama has been filling the Washington bureaucracy including DHS, the CIA, DOD, the National Security Council, the White House, the State Department, every US Intelligence Agency, and the US Armed Forces with thousands of members of the CAIR, MPAC, the Muslim Brotherhood, and other Muslim Brotherhood front groups. ... Another example of the Muslim Brotherhood controlling security decisions at the highest levels of the Obama administration, was how Obama, Hillary, and Susan Rice... They have a history of obstructing Federal Law Enforcement Agencies from indoctrinating new graduates of the Federal Law Enforcement and the FBI Academies about the dangers that ties members of the Muslim Brotherhood, CAIR, and MPAC have to “Radical Islamic Terrorism.” They also try to impede investigations, by calling attention to Obama administration new policies, intimidating witnesses, using “Muslim Victimization” as a defense, and by using other attempts to halt investigations into activities of accused Jihadists. ' http://www.combatveteransforcongress.org/story/muslim-brotherhood-%E2%80%9Cmassive%E2%80%9D-government-infiltration-while-stigmatizing-government-employee-is I can summarize the absolute drivel of the two websites and the statements of this PAC by saying they represent that the NSA, the CIA, the FBI, have all been infiltrated by the "Muslim Brotherhood". Which is the group banned by Egypt subsequent to the overthrow of their election in Egypt by the subsequent military government(s). But that they have morphed into a global "fifth column" which has seized control of these agencies of the US government aforementioned.
  10. Sorry for the delay but the rivers and streams where I live are all on fire. What can I do for you? thanks for that. When I read this thread I immediately thought that you could explain it and make sense of it best.
  11. In your world view are there "snowflakes" on both sides of the political spectrum, or just the left? There is Breitbart News and others on Facebook who discuss the same stories from the same sources. Its very frustrating for trump and his followers. So comforting sources of information is like pablum for the mind. No introspection required.
  12. Usually one tries to rank itself from #1, rather than from the bottom of any list. Since the US is primarily a nation of immigrants subsequent to the founding native Indians settling after the ice age. What are the definitions of culture to which you refer? Please identify those positive cultural attributes.
  13. IMO this reflects poorly on the whole SEAL community. Now, now there are those that will argue he has superb insight. Likely does. That he showed wisdom and judgement. Perhaps. But what about the whole SEAL toughness? Eating Sh*t sandwiches and soldiering on? Getting live grenades and then getting hung out to dry when the grenade goes off. While smiling all the time to the "Commander in Chief". Bad precedent for run of the mill patsies like Pence and Priebus. Who for now try to keep a straight face while facing lies and chaos. Dread putting their ties on every day and having to go to work. Dreading message after message about the new talking points from bannon and miller. Wondering how much longer they should go on before they can claim a family emergency and resign. "Is Donald Trump’s Inner Circle Already Collapsing? The knives are out for Mike Flynn and Reince Priebus." http://www.vanityfair.com/news/2017/02/is-donald-trumps-inner-circle-already-collapsing
  14. BBC had a good interview with "Middle America" trump supporters. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-38999993
  15. Evidently the Breitbart News boys have turned the knives on each other and others. "Those tensions exploded into the open this week when Matthew Boyle, Breitbart's Washington political editor, ran a story based on unnamed sources “close to the president” blaming Priebus for everything from national security adviser Michael Flynn’s resignation to the slow pace of Trump’s Cabinet confirmations in the Senate. Many assumed the story ran with the blessing of Bannon and represented the latest salvo in his ongoing struggle with Priebus. “It's obvious what's happening. Bannon’s trying to run him out,” one GOP lawmaker told The Hill on Wednesday. “I think Bannon's knives are out for Priebus, but Trump set this up on purpose so they would compete,” the lawmaker said. However, Bannon says he did not know the story would run and was angry that his old publication had attacked his colleague at a critical juncture for the administration." http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/319791-priebus-bannon-trash-reports-of-division
  16. It probably will. Since we have examples in the past of what can happen when you DON'T speak up and work to stop injustice and tyranny, there's more of an impetus to do so now. Between the press reporting on his actions and the majority of American voters who oppose him, there's enough awareness and ability to take action to prevent those past abuses. Your own constitution and laws actually do not allow/show many solutions to amend/prevent anything around DT's power. On one side, the more time passes by the more he'll find ways to corroborate his throne - while his opponents in same time are waiting for him to fail, to make severe mistakes ... Sadly, the waiting position is unrewarding. And there is still the Republican prevalence in senate - which one of them will be courageous enough, convinced enough to oppose the Orange Fearless Leader? The higher the ladder the deeper you fall? Money? Correct me if I'm wrong. Perhaps I fell for dishonest media ... But, as I'm reading different papers in different languages, watch various alien TV channels - I doubt that. (As our own news channels and print media mainly are impartial, I deeply hope something like FOX never will pop up here!) Thus, I believe my eyes and ears. 1. Courts. They have already checked his authority. 2. Senate. They are starting to find a voice and are responsible for his recent Labor dept. nominee withdrawing from consideration. 3. Media. There was a new development today. A major news network program: "Morning Joe' host says show will no longer book Conway... “I know for a fact she tries to book herself on this show; I won’t do it,” Brzezinski said of Conway on Wednesday morning. "I don’t believe in fake news or information that is not true. That is — every time I’ve ever seen her on television something is askew, off or incorrect,” she added.... So why does the president allow her to keep going out and spreading false information?" Brzezinski said Conway is “not credible anymore.” “Kellyanne Conway does not need to text our show, as long as I’m on it,” Brzezinski said. “It’s not happening here.” http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/319604-brzezinski-says-conway-will-no-longer-be-booked-on-morning-joe The President does have the power to start wars and dispatch troops on his own authority. With the exception that congress can cut off the money for such actions after a bit. Thats a current concern, because one of his Executive Orders was to order the Joint Chiefs of Staff to come up with a plan to defeat IS. They came back with a plan for ground troops. IMO thats a big mistake because none of the regional states. Those being Syria and Iraq. Have the inclination to protect those Sunni populations from either Assad or from the Shia Baghdad government abuses.
  17. Thanks. I'd add that the list of ATP pilots who landed at the wrong airport is long. Let alone military pilots who have landed at the wrong airport. C-17 mistakes commuter airport for a major airbase. Pilot and co-pilot working on this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcIYmsGmNnk Last week there were two Canadian F-18's who were so excited about being in Florida that they almost landed at a closed airport. GPS probably frozen. http://www.mypanhandle.com/news/canadian-aircrafts-accidentally-attempt-to-land-at-old-airport/653045251
  18. CNN likes to stir the post continuously to create "Breaking News". It likes to quote its own reporters. Which is bad journalism. But it generally doesn't report false facts. It does exaggerate new news a little but will correct itself after a bit.
  19. "In the late 1980s, Jack O’Donnell, one of Donald Trump’s Atlantic City casino executives, devised a special strategy for talking to the in-and-out owner. “I would know Donald was coming to town,” O’Donnell said in a recent interview from his home in Arizona. “And if you were going to pitch him something, you would say”—and here he sped up his cadence, as if he were hitting a verbal fast-forward button—“‘Oh-hey-Donald-good-to-see-you-hey-I-wanted-to-run-something-by-you.’ Boom. That was it. Because if you hit him too late in the conversation, he might say, ‘Let’s talk about it later’—and he was gone.” In the early ‘90s, Barbara Res, a project manager on Trump Tower who was a vice president in the Trump Organization, attempted to prepare him for a deposition for a court case pitting a Trump-led group against the Los Angeles school district in a battle for a coveted piece of property. “He said, ‘No, I don’t need to be prepared,’” Res said last week from her home in New Jersey. Finally, she persuaded him to give her, an associate and an attorney two hours in his office. “In the two hours, he kept taking phone calls,” Res said. Unprepared, he did “poorly” in the deposition, she said; his group lost the case, and the deal fell apart. “He was so distracted,” she said. “He really couldn’t stay focused.”... The question of Trump’s attention span recently has leapt from a longtime employee complaint to a meaningful national issue. Res, O’Donnell and others like them have long collected stories of their exasperation over Trump’s impetuous nature as a boss. But this one personal attribute has become a subject of more widespread concern as voters consider how Trump’s habits and personality might translate to the presidency—a job that demands uncommon focus, with life in the West Wing often feeling like a control panel of perpetually blinking emergency lights." http://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/09/donald-trump-attention-span-214223 http://www.haaretz.com/world-news/u-s-election-2016/1.741098 "Well, The Donald is not manic, nor psychotic, nor autistic. He could have some ADD (attention deficit disorder). He is bored easily, easily distracted, not known to concentrate for long on any problem, uninterested in detail, and, in a sense, quite creative. He also speaks as a teenager with ADD. Seldom can he start a sentence and bring it to logical closure without an insert or two, these inserts often derailing the original intention of the sentence." https://dawsonross.wordpress.com/2016/08/12/the-unfiltered-mind-of-donald-trump-a-tentative-psychiatric-evaluation/
  20. Do the interests of a country, the Constitution, the safety of the public. Make it permissible for intelligence and security services to leak information to the public/journalists? I'd say yes. Because coverup is almost a pastime of politicians. A SOP so to speak.
  21. I was wondering why "Royreader8812" had gone on a rant about Mr. Soros a while back. Now after reading Breitbart News I understand where you and Roy are coming from. Below from "Nonprofit Quarterly" "The interesting thing about the article is a passing observation about the father. In reviewing the “generational shift in the philanthropic and political efforts of the Soros family,” the Forward noted that George Soros has made grants worth $8 billion over the past three decades through his Open Society Foundations (OSF), promoting democracy and human rights, among other issues. Soros’s foundations give out hundreds of millions in philanthropic support every year, dwarfing his personal contributions, as big as they are, to politically active (c)(4)s, 527s, and PACs. For example, he was the nation’s top giver to outside political groups in the 2004 election cycle, at $23.7 million, but in the 2008 cycle, he gave only $5 million, and it isn’t clear how much he has donated in the current electoral cycle. Soros is primarily a philanthropist, with significant contributions in Eastern Europe to help the former Soviet bloc countries transform themselves into democracies. Like his father, Alexander has obviously been active with political donations, but has just announced the creation of the Alexander Soros Foundation, with interests that appear to be similar to the humanitarian goals of the father’s Open Society Foundations. A Soros daughter, Andrea Soros Colombel, founded and heads the Trace Foundation, which supports Tibetan culture in China." Soros is using the money he earned doing the same thing "Wall Street" does to promote democracy and support independent democracies in Europe. Which explains Royreader8812, and Soros supports liberals in the world, the US, which explains your thinking. That labels him the most evil person in the world. Makes perfect sense. https://www.philanthropy.com/factfile/gifts_detail?GiftDonorJoin_a_DonorID=PGDON1533 The financier George Soros has pledged $50-million over five years to Millennium Promise Alliance, in New York, to support the Millennium Villages Project, an effort to fight poverty in sub-Saharan Africa. This project works in 79 villages in 10 countries to ease hunger, advocate women's rights, improve education and health care, and achieve other goals aimed at improving living conditions in Africa over the next five years. George Soros, chairman of Soros Fund Management, a New York firm that manages hedge funds, and founder and chairman of the Open Society Institute, in New York, has pledged $100-million to his newly established Fund for Policy Reform to support advocacy related to climate change. The Open Society Institute (New York) has received a pledge of $10 million from George Soros to make grants to organizations that combat hate crimes in the United States. Mr. Soros is the chairman of Soros Fund Management, a New York firm that manages hedge funds, and founder and chairman of the Open Society Institute. George Soros, chairman of Soros Fund Management, a New York firm that manages hedge funds, has pledged $10-million to the Open Society Institute, a network of foundations that Mr. Soros founded in New York in 1993. The money will be used to help cities with more than 250,000 residents develop systems to treat drug addicts. George Soros, chairman of Soros Fund Management, a New York firm that manages hedge funds, and founder of the Open Society Institute, in New York, has pledged $50-million to Central European University, in Budapest, Hungary. The money will be used to establish the Institute for New Economic Thinking. Mr. Soros, who helped establish the university, will pay $5-million annually over the next 10 years. donald trump used the money donated by others to his charity to buy a painting of himself to hang in a business that he owned. " The fabled portrait of Donald Trump that he reportedly used $20,000 in charity money to buy was finally revealed Tuesday. And it’s very orange. The Washington Post, which first reported the allegations that Trump may have used Trump Foundation money to buy the picture, obtained a photo which shows the six-foot painting by "speed painter" Michael Israel. Israel cranked out the portrait in less than six minutes during a 2007 gala at Trump's Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach, Florida. It's done in Israel's brash impressionistic style with bold orange colors and Trump's wife Melania bought it afterward with a $10,000 bid that the auctioneer convinced her to double, the paper reported. Israel, who supplied the photo, got half the proceeds from the auction and the other half was earmarked for the charity that hosted the event, the Children's Place at Home Safe. "But then Trump paid for this painting with money from the Donald J. Trump Foundation," Washington Post reporter David Fahrenthold told MSNBC. "His foundation isn't allowed to just go buy things that are going to decorate the walls of his house, or decorate the walls of his businesses." http://www.nbcnews.com/card/six-foot-portrait-himself-trump-bought-charity-money-revealed-n676461 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Soros https://nonprofitquarterly.org/2012/04/25/soros-family-giving-more-focused-on-philanthropy-than-politics/
  22. Just for Ron: "The challenge is that most leaders have networks full of people who think and act like them and many fail to seek out diverse opinions, especially in highly charged situations. Instead, they hunker down with people who have similar beliefs and values. This can lead to particularly dire consequences in cross-cultural environments. To overcome this, you need another core emotional intelligence competency, empathy, which allows you to learn how to read others and truly understand what matters to them and what they care about. This will, in turn, help you connect with people and gather their thoughts, opinions, and help when you need them." https://hbr.org/2016/12/what-you-can-do-to-improve-ethics-at-your-company Lots of free reading at this site. I don't think its "fake". Although trump university labeled it "elitist". I heard about a book that teaches empathy.Quote from the book. "“And what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass? It is the freeing of a slave, or feeding on a day of severe hunger, an orphan of near relationship, or a needy person in misery. And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion.” http://productivemuslim.com/empathy-transform-life/
  23. What about the loss to the CIA of a secure phone tap into the Russian ambassadors phone that these disclosures laid bare. Presumably without the "leak" to the Washington Post the methodology of the tap would still be useful. For certain that mechanism is now lost because the WH defaulted to coverup after a secure direct disclosure of Flynn's actions. Disclosures that should have resulted in appropriate, immediate, termination of Flynn. Leaving the need for public disclosures unnecessary. trump and his gang of three need to learn that the national interest will supersede their efforts to hide, obstruct and ignore. The rule of law, precedent and the constitution. That barring the three of them hiding under the covers in the Lincoln bedroom and whispering. Corruption will be laid bare sooner or later.
  24. Makes sense. Natural fit.I'm sure bannon, miller and trump should be bosom buddies forever.
