How a Pandemic Might Play Out Under Trump From Dec. 20, 2016, The Atlantic magazine. IMO George W. Bush was of ordinary intellect. Not stupid by any means, "potatoe" aside. What he did well is surround himself with smart people and listen to them. As such I think he did a good job. trump, well he surrounds himself with........When decisions have to be made to shut down commerce, NASCAR races, etc. to potentially save American lives.

Evidently Fox news was denying Did Trump Fire the US Pandemic Response Team? Above from Snopes. 3 COVID-19 Cases As Described By Doctors In China a You-tube video describing the progression of the virus as it kills patients.

And " I'm crossing the border southbound to Spaceland San Marcos with a group of seven tomorrow morning. At least we will get a week of jumping in before the Trump orders Pence to close all the borders." Well Pence is in charge so its not like homeland security will be meeting you at Pembina N.D.. Pretend you're a republican, look stupid, feign ignorance at every question, praise trump. You'll be ok.

Evidently America is in good hands with Mike Pence in charge of the Covid-19 upcoming pandemic. He has a well established history of managing medical emergencies in Indiana. Sleep easy and don't worry just 'Pray On It' Cuts to health care under trump will ensure that those who need medical help to treat Covid-19. Can spread it to those with coverage. Here is a story about Mike Pence from October 4, 2018, entitled "Mike Pence Is Still to Blame for an HIV Outbreak in Indiana,The avoidable Scott County epidemic may reveal a terrifying future for public health in America." Mike Pence claimed “smoking doesn’t kill” as late as 2000 In 2018, the Trump administration fired the government’s entire pandemic response chain of command, including the White House management infrastructure.

Well after Jared's success in the Middle East Peace Plan. He certainly deserved a reward. V.P. Pence's assignment to this post is akin to being handed a "poison pill". Pence must have offended trump in some fashion.Perhaps not enough lube when Pence was ....... Less deadly but more transmissible than SARS, MERS

Yeah, I know and its true of course. But the pain of death affects more than just the deceased. Just as someone whose health is compromised by HIV. I'm sure the evangelicals will say that its just God's way of punishing those that deserve it. But thats for a different thread.

Thats kind of a poorly worded, calloused view. IMO it shows why these viruses are making the jump from animals to humans. Mainly originating from China. China needs to follow through on its promise earlier this year to ban wild animals for food markets. The young, older and those with weakened immune systems, especially respiratory. Need quality quick medical assistance. This virus is very dangerous in that : " Patient 1 (presumed asymptomatic carrier), a 20-year-old woman, lives in Wuhan and traveled to Anyang on January 10, 2020. She initially met with patients 2 and 3 on January 10. On January 13, she accompanied 5 relatives (patients 2 through 6) to visit another hospitalized relative in Anyang District Hospital (Figure). There was no report of COVID-19 at this hospital. After development of disease in her relatives, patient 1 was isolated and observed. As of February 11, she had no elevated temperature measured or self-reported fever and no gastrointestinal or respiratory symptoms, including cough and sore throat, reported or observed by the physicians. Chest CT images on January 27 and 31 showed no significant abnormalities. Her C-reactive protein level and lymphocyte count were normal (Table). Results of RT-PCR testing were negative on January 26, positive on January 28, and negative on February 5 and 8. " Above from JAMA. More importantly trump has decided to do his best to minimize and turn this serious issue into his usual goat*#ck. Vice President Pence has issued a directive that all health department officials must clear statements with his office. Makes sense the P/E ratio of the US equity markets is more important than the facts of a health emergency.

Understanding debate and negotiation(of/for_______): 1. Never recognize a legitimate fact by the other party.. 2. Make obtuse statements that only slightly touch on the facts at hand. They help mislead, distract and sidetrack real issues. 3. Make generalizations, false assumptions and misjudgements based on personal biases. But never come out and clearly state your real personal position or view of the issues.Because you don't really want to defend a core belief with substance that proves to be wrong. 4. Choose labels for everything with positions that reflect your personal biases.Ideally derogatory and deflective of real substance. These points will help you understand trump, Fox News the NRA, etc.

Coreece has no intent of understanding squat. He has repeated again and again that I have stated that 100% of evangelicals support trump. Whereby I have quoted independent sources not once but probably twenty times that "Other religious groups voted for Trump as well, but none did so at the 81 percent level that white evangelicals did. Among Protestants, 58 percent voted for Trump; among white Catholics, 60 percent voted for Trump; among Mormons, 61 percent. In April 2017, approval of Trump had dropped among white mainline Protestants to 50 percent and among white Catholics to 53 percent. But among white evangelicals his approval rating stayed high, at 78 percent. " Coreece has stated "So given that, about 38% of all white evangelicals actually voted for Trump."When he quotes from a Pew research study himself that shows that White evangelicals are 20% of the share of the electorate. The Pew study Coreece quoted shows 77% voted for trump, 16% Clinton and he states in the same post that 38% did. Here is a suggestion. Try not to interpret statistics.Don't put words in my mouth. Or provide the quote where by I said 100% of evangelicals voted for trump when your statement here was: "I would like to see how you came to the conclusion that all, or most, or even a slight majority of white evangelicals voted for Trump and fit that description. You may be tempted to post links about how "80-ish% of evangelicals voted for Trump," but you'd need to look at that number a bit more critically. " Within the last three pages of this thread I have quoted the same story twice now. You have repeated more than once in the last two pages that I represented 100% of evangelicals did_____. Try to keep your representations straight and what I stated straight. Try quoting me directly and quoting from independent sources directly. Interpretation isn't your strong point.

To paraphrase and save time for the uninitiated. trump and conservatives have found a naive black woman, 29 years old. She is employed by Turning Point USA "The organization has also secretly attempted to influence student government elections in an effort to "combat liberalism on college and university campuses".[4][5] In December 2017, former employees of the organization accused it of engaging in racist practices, as well as potentially illegal involvement in the 2016 presidential election.[6]" She and Turning Point have been financed by: Turning Point USA has a rising-star founder, close ties to Trumpworld, and a roster of wealthy conservative donors. What are they really paying for? Its in violation of the US nonprofit act under which it operates. " its national office publishes liberal-tweaking pamphlets and crafts social-media memes. .. The mission might sound clear enough, but some of what Turning Point USA actually does is anything but. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Turning Point USA is required to be “nonpartisan,” which means it can’t endorse candidates or support political campaigns. But a recent New Yorker investigation found former employees who said Turning Point USA had done work for two different candidates in the 2016 presidential race. Turning Point USA has also stocked its annual conference with a plethora of pro-Trump speakers, including Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump’s wife, Lara Trump. Adding to the murkiness, Turning Point USA also says it is running a campus leadership program that has—through training or direct financial support" Its illegal actions mimic trump enterprise operations.

Did Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez draw Trump's ire questioning Michael Cohen about the president's tax returns? " the committee's professional staff worked with the congresswoman’s personal aides to select a line of questioning that Ocasio-Cortez could then fine tune when her turn came in the high-profile showdown. .. Ocasio-Cortez followed up on Missouri Democrat William Lacy Clay’s questions, leading Cohen to disclose how he claimed Trump had strived to defraud insurance companies and misrepresent the value of his assets, laying the groundwork to possibly acquire the tax returns by committee subpoena. " I'll paraphrase for trumpeters. trump enterprises has already been served with subpoenas to investigate insurance fraud. That would be five days after her five minutes of House questioning of Cohen. Her staff helped formulate the pertinent questions that led to this and to the upcoming subpoenas of trump's tax returns. Yeah that would be the $50K a year staff mentioned earlier. Mmmm a brown skinned Latina woman laying the groundwork for a nice eight by eight prison cell. Should be hearing from Hannity, trump and his other conservative delinquent supporters soon.

South Korea says North Korea is restoring dismantled launch site 'South Korean intelligence officials have reportedly seen signs of new activity at North Korean nuclear sites that the country previously pledged to dismantle. ...North Korean officials promised last year to dismantle following an initial summit between President Trump and Kim Jong Un, according to Reuters.... In November, however, North Korean officials indicated that progress on dismantling the Tongchang-ri facility and others could be reversed if U.S. sanctions on the country's economy were not lifted, which Trump refused to do at last week's summit.... "If the U.S. keeps behaving arrogantly without showing any change in its stand, while failing to properly understand our repeated demand, the DPRK may add one thing to the state policy for directing all efforts to the economic construction adopted in April and as a result, the word 'pyongjin' may appear again," the country's foreign ministry said last year." So to paraphrase for trump's supporters. The arrogance of trump and Pompeo has forced NK to expand production. Thanks for the cessation of US-SK war games.

Former Trump lawyer calls Mueller an 'American hero' Ty Cobb, who represented the White House amid Robert Mueller’s ongoing probe into Russian election meddling, called the special counsel an “American hero” in a recent interview. So he is like John McCain,Audie Murphy, etc. Except trump hasn't slighted Audie Murphy, yet.

You're getting confused a bit. Lets start with the story from the The Christian Century that I quoted most recently. It makes reference to both a political activism of evangelicals and their voting record. " In the 2016 election, 81 percent of white evangelicals voted for Donald Trump" is the first paragraph of the story. Which is likely within the statistical error of where you got your quote from. No further interpretation or math needs to be done from this statistic. It states white, the sect of Christianity and they were voters. The second paragraph outlines a tremendous amount of theological study, over 35 years that has been undertaken to try to understand evangelicals. Then within the last couple years to try to link those understandings to the appeal of trump. Now in paragraph six of this article it states " what most distinguishes white American evangelicals from other Christians, other religious groups, and nonbelievers is not theology but politics. " Bingo. This is where I distance myself from them. This is the new paradigm of which Bill refers. Bill feel free to correct me. This particular story was not chosen was not chosen after hours of digging. When the author of this story states that much research into the theology of evangelicals support for trump has been made. He is entirely correct. As is the concept that politics within that religious group dominates religious thought. Which brings me to the "outlier" beliefs of this cult. OK I said it: "Other religious groups voted for Trump as well, but none did so at the 81 percent level that white evangelicals did. White evangelicals are also outliers on social and political issues. Before the school shootings in Parkland, Florida, only 38 percent of them favored stricter gun laws, compared to 57 percent of white mainline Protestants and 67 percent of Catholics. Exactly 50 percent of white mainline Protestants and white Catholics approved of Trump’s ban on refugees from seven Muslim-majority nations when it was announced last year; an overwhelming 76 percent of white evangelicals supported the policy. Racial minorities display even greater disagreements with white evangelicals than did other white Christians. More than anything else, identifying as an evangelical in the United States denotes certain attitudes about American politics and usually indicates a white racial identity. It’s not that theology isn’t important to white evangelicals; it’s just not the primary thing that distinguishes them from other religious groups." I've quoted many similar articles like this before. From "The Atlantic" and many christian journals.

Yes 12 countries all together.

Wrong, as usual. Its too bad that the statistics of which you yourself quote. Make the argument for a new paradigm of political action which like a mirror stares you in the face.

In an indirect way the arms race with the Soviet Union, nuclear and conventional. Helped lead to the downfall and breakup of the Soviet Union. Which led to the freedom of many republics from communist party central control. Its unfortunate that Putin came along to piggyback upon the institutionalized corruption of communism. From the corruption of Russian privatization. Thankfully Poland, E. Germany, etc. managed to shed the corruption of central government controls. The US and NATO deserve equal credit for this and thankfully there has never been a test of nuclear deterrence, aka MAD.

The two quotes from you that I have emboldened dispute your own point. I have provided many quotations about the movement of evangelicals in the US to become a political force. So I won't quote those same sources again. You make reference to evangelicals as a body since the civil war. Yet the movement to the right of this sect and its political activism. Has never been matched before in the US. Here is an article on the subject from:"The Christian Century is a Christian magazine based in Chicago, Illinois. Considered the flagship magazine of US mainline Protestantism, the biweekly reports on religious news; comments on theological, moral, and cultural issues." from Wikipedia American evangelicalism and the politics of whiteness

Why hold the summit in the first place? North Korea accuses US of 'gangster-like' behaviour after Pompeo talks This is the direct quote from the NK government " But, the U.S. side came up only with its unilateral and gangster-like demand for denuclearization just calling for CVID, declaration and verification, all of which run counter to the spirit of the Singapore summit meeting and talks." The above states clearly that denuclearizeation is counter to what trump said was agreed to at the first summit. The above statement was issued subsequent to Pompeo's meeting in NK. So what would make trump think NK has changed its mind on anything. During the time since the meeting with Mr. Kim and Pompeo. NK has built 2-3 nuclear weapons according to trump's own intelligence officers. Sounds like a whole lot of winning.

Clinton tried the trump approach already. Called negotiating in good faith.= failure Bush tried the get tough sanctions approach already.= failure, but restricted the NK ability to expand its nuclear programs. trump already conceded the SK-US war games which are a absolutely positive deterrence to NK adventurism. trump got a cessation in nuclear testing (after two tests) and missile testing. All while NK expanded production of missiles and nuclear weapons. So since NK is still expanding its programs. So since John un got a suspension of the war games on his border. Got two face to face meetings as equals with trump. trump has in fact tried to kick the can and missed it four times.
