Yes unfortunately in China, Russia,Iran and quite a few other countries harassment is a part of the state. "The ACLU protects your freedom through a nationwide network of staffed offices in every state, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico. To request legal assistance or get involved, find your local ACLU affiliate below."

Do you mean the Cherokee,Apache,Chippewa, etc. nations? What did they do wrong?

Over 30 million unemployed Americans, four million infections with over 140,000 killed and 1100 more dying every day.. Thousands losing their health insurance every day and twenty-two percent unable to make rent-mortgage payments. Millions could loose their homes because they can't meet mortgage obligations. The message trump wants to send to FOX his captive news channel is his dementia test. If there ever was a god he would hold the election tomorrow and a new presidential inauguration the day after. But alas there will be more ramblings with no purpose but to self stroke his ego.

$380,000 is the amount trump Hotels earned in tax deductible donations for his re-election campaign in a two day period. The pig is at the trough.

Before he outlines the test he states he "forgets" the name of the test. In the ordinary course of events a 74 yo man making such a fool of himself should elicit sympathy. But this is trump so F*#k-him is the word.

Banning child marriage in America: An uphill fight against evangelical pressure Christian evangelicals leading the charge for old white men marrying children. Perhaps thats why the Ghislaine Maxwell thread is hard for them to understand.

and "The Ukrainian famine—known as the Holodomor, a combination of the Ukrainian words for “starvation” and “to inflict death”—by one estimate claimed the lives of 3.9 million people, about 13 percent of the population. And, unlike other famines in history caused by blight or drought, this was caused when a dictator wanted both to replace Ukraine’s small farms with state-run collectives and punish independence-minded Ukrainians who posed a threat to his totalitarian authority."

Pffft old news. Just another part of the GOP plan whereby competition defines America. If you have money you win, if you don't you die. Health care is for the deserving not for everyone because that would be socialism.

Turtle started his post off with a quote from a Republican independent TV channel. "KUSI is owned and operated by Channel 51 of San Diego, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of McKinnon Broadcasting. McKinnon Broadcasting is owned by the McKinnon family, which is made up of Dan, Michael, Clinton, and Michael Jr. The McKinnon’s aren’t passive, disengaged owners of the station. Michael McKinnon currently serves as Station Manager. The McKinnon family, including their spouses, has donated over $150,000 to Republican candidates and committees, over half of which into the pockets of San Diego congressmen and the SDGOP. Here is a breakdown of the most popular recipients of KUSI family money. 24 donations totaling $17,020 to disgraced, pay-for-play Republican former Congressman Randy “Duke” Cunningham. $18,650 to Republican Congressman Brian Bilbray, who makes regular visits to KUSI when he returns from Washington, DC. $21,000 in contributions to now-retired Republican Congressman Duncan Hunter ($26,000 if you count a $5,000 contribution to Hunter’s “Peace Through Strength” PAC) and an additional $11,450 to his son, current Congressman Duncan D. Hunter. Hunter Sr. was also a frequent guest on KUSI. $8300 has been contributed to the San Diego County Republican Central Committee under the tenure of Tony Krvaric. $52,500 in contributions to the National Republican Congressional Committee." So the bias in its so called "reporting" should surprise nobody. It has a well established local profile of hosting any republicans that ask for coverage. Where softball questions are the standard. The station like Turtle, trump, DeVos and the GOP would like to defund public schools. Cut education spending in every budget. This is coverage of the same story from the LA Times: Leaders of the Los Angeles teachers union on Friday called for campuses to remain closed and for distance learning to continue when the school year begins Aug. 18. Union leaders have concluded it is not safe to bring children back on campus as COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County surge to new highs. "The union also released a report suggesting parameters for reopening will be difficult to meet any time in the near future, although they are in line with what some health experts are recommending. In an informal poll released Friday night, 83% of union members who responded agreed that Los Angeles Unified campuses should not physically reopen next month. The union represents around 32,000 district employees, including teachers, counselors, nurses and librarians. Of those, some 18,000 had responded to the poll as of Friday night." No mention of these lies in Turtles version. In fact multiple searches of these "demands" come back solely to Turtles source KUSI TV: "Their demands include implementing a moratorium on private schools, defunding the police, increasing taxes on the wealthy, implementing Medicare for all, and passing the HEROES Act, which allocated and additional $116 billion in federal education funding to the states. The unions demands also took aim at charter schools. The United Teachers Los Angeles union says these policies must be implemented on both the state and national level before reopening schools. Opponents, mainly Republicans, believe these demands prove that San Diego Unified and Los Angeles Unified School District’s decision to conduct classes online is a political one, not driven by the data." -
I think the proper saying is truth is the first casualty of war and the first casualty of battle is the plan. But I'll defer to your experience.

Evidently Putin and Xi were both pissed. How could their security agencies been so wrong. In North Korea the Intelligence director was shot.
-
Point made. I'd suggest that important "national interests" and a powerful military have made American politicians too willing to engage in military adventurism. Perhaps drones and robotics will allow risk free action in the future. But as every service person knows the first casualty of battle is the plan.

The test is much more difficult than that. trump bragged yesterday, on FOX naturally, “Person. Woman. Man. Camera. TV.” President Trump again sought to showcase his mental fitness on television by reciting, over and over again in an interview broadcast on Wednesday evening, what he said was a sample cognitive testing sequence. For the better part of a month, Mr. Trump, 74, has made repeated appearances on Fox News to brag about acing a cognitive test he said he recently took at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, first with Sean Hannity and again with Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday.” All the while, the White House has not disclosed details about when the president underwent the testing or why." FOX viewers and his supporters on SC were amazed at his mental acuity at that feat. FOX hosts could scarcely conceal their glee at a president strutting his stuff on their channel. They speculated that none other than Rupert Murdoch would send trump a golden trophy as recognition.

FOX, Breitbart and Stephen Miller. are all working together to develop a narrative for the election. To tell trump voters what to think. "To his legions of listeners, Rush Limbaugh calls the demonstrators in Portland, Ore., “anarchists” who “hate Americans and America.” He recently made an ominous prediction: “I can see secession coming.” On Fox News, Sean Hannity describes the scene in Portland as “a literal disaster area — and, yeah, it looks like a war zone.” On Wednesday, Breitbart News — which features a “Riot Crackdown” page on its website — published an article declaring, “Now would be a real good time to do whatever is necessary to obtain a permit to legally carry a handgun.” Right-wing outlets and conservative media stars have seized on the weekslong protests in Portland as a rallying cry for law and order, instructing their followers to fear for their safety and blaming Democratic leaders for failing to restore peace." Get guns, fear for your safety and vote GOP. 1968 all over again.

Furthermore those who vote for war should meet the returning wounded, the returning KIA and their families. On weekends they should clean the bedpans and wounds in the military hospitals. There is one country that understands the cost of war. The cost of defending "national interests". The Swiss.

Not even DOA because as Jerry said its ramblings of an idiot. One who has no interest in national health care because he has immigrant children to harass and sic ICE on. But for those who wish to study trump lies about health care. 6 promises Trump has made about health care 03/13/2017

Title of thread This is how you use kids as a political weapon. "Ms. DeVos,..More than anyone else who has joined the incoming Trump administration, she represents the combination of wealth, free-market ideology and political hardball associated with a better-known family of billionaires: Charles and David Koch.... the DeVoses’ education activism, which favors alternatives to traditional public schools, appears to derive from the same free-market views that inform their suspicion of government. And perhaps more than other right-wing billionaires, the DeVoses couple their seeding of ideological causes with an aggressive brand of political spending." Betsy DeVos Just Bought Herself a Trump Cabinet Position It cost her $115,000 in personal donations to sitting Republican senators; $950,000 more has flowed in from the DeVos family over the last three-and-a-half decades. And another $8.3 million from the DeVoses has gone to Republican super PACs in the last two election cycles alone. Not cheap! But it got the job done." Trump’s Billionaire Education Secretary Has Been Trying to Gut Public Schools for Years I could go on and on but I think the points been made. The billionaire DeVos family and the billionaire Koch family bought her positions to gut public schools. Kill public school unions and fund private ones. Nothing more, nothing less and trump sold her the position. Children, education has nothing to do with the equation. DeVos has never had a idea on how to improve the schooling in poor geographic areas. Never. She and trump have weaponized education with her entire tenure as education czar. Not cabinet minister because consultation was never a part of what she did in education initiatives and not one that trump did. From 2019 Trump administration proposes $7.1 billion funding cut to Education Department. In fact trump cut education in every budget he proposed. You chose the topic its too bad the facts don't support an attempt to paint a narrative you like. -

"Evangelicals For Trump are ready to help re-elect President Donald J Trump." They are evangelical Ukrainians. Evidently they have sold their souls to Lucifer just like US evangelicals. Or so trump thinks. -

Q is mostly an online social support group for people who are powerless but want to believe that they can reclaim power. That they are the few who are the tip of the spear for disenfranchised white conservative Christians. They are a modern Crusader who see infidels where others don't. So they arm themselves, operate sub-rosa and wait for the day when they can shield their group. Be the hero's who prepared while the ignorant infidel masses didn't.

The democrats need to seize the middle ground of the political spectrum. Be friendly to business while advancing the environmental agenda. Protect the trump voters that lose their jobs because of shifting employment dynamics.Hold back on those that want the government to be all and do all. Recognize that republicans will re-organize, find new leaders and push back. Make truth, science, ideals, integrity and engagement with the world. The new great America.

Trump expresses support for Ghislaine Maxwell

Well its clear that for pimps of children, child molesters and those that prey on them. That for Donald personal loyalty trumps calling them out and labeling them with adjectives of personal disgust. -

Its all a part of a trump election strategy to create a dangerous domestic enemy. Antifa, mob rule and all the boogymen will come to the fore if democrats are elected. Only a rule of law president, a rule of law party can protect you. Its an old strategy of dictators and strongmen. Create an enemy foreign or domestic, stir dissent to create labels for those enemies. Wrap yourself in the flag and put some fresh lipstick on the pig. The new narrative: "As we look at America, we see cities enveloped in smoke and flame. We hear sirens in the night. We see Americans dying on... As far as this problem of law and order is concerned, I am for law and order." Sorry thats not Donald trump. Its Richard Nixon 1968.
