For Chris%%%%'s sake this whole covid brain numbing thing again! What about: The 1994 Rwanda genocide where christian ministers assisted the murder of the Tutsi ethnic group. Through the entire massacre of 7.7 million people "God" and that was christ was on the side of the Army.

Silly me! I forgot about the christian chaplains in the Wehrmacht in WW1 and WW2?

What about Buddhism and the Rohingya. Is Buddhism a religion as well or do the Rohingya deserve to be raped, slaughtered and ethnically cleansed?

"Trump campaign’s communications director asserted on Friday that the reason some migrant families separated by the administration at the U.S. border have not been reunited is because the parents do not want their children back. ....“You have to locate the parents and when they are located in these other countries in many cases, John, the parents do not want the children sent back to them in their home countries.” Imagine a new phrase inscribed on the Statue of Liberty. Instead of "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore". trump wrote "If climate change, drug gangs feeding America's drug needs and poverty drives you from your homelands. You can thank me for DHS seizing your children, forcing them into internment camps. Because I was the least racist president America ever elected"

Women with brains are a severe challenge to white men are not used to cognitive challenges to their world order. There seems to be an exception however. A place where populism, where Murdoch and his disinformation spinning media empire loses to facts. "Labour’s historic win delivered Ardern a second term while voters punished politicians who embraced populism ...“A huge reason that our politics is not so extremely polarised and so far out there is because we no longer have Murdoch-owned press in New Zealand, and it’s never taken a foothold,” said David Cormack, the co-founder of a public relations firm" But its nor fair to blame Murdoch for the _______ of trump's base. They choose to go back to websites that can't find advertisers because they peddle b.s. They choose to go back to their sources of information even though they get proven wrong and wrong again.

Too much FOX and lazy thinking. Most major US news services have already published polls stating that the majority of Americans think there should be no confirmations of USSC justices this close to a election. He knows better but is indifferent to the facts.

Some people have forgot the SOP of trumpists. Lie, deny, make counter accusations and paint defeats as victories. Some "centrists" have the same M.O.

Ghislaine Maxwell's deposition from April 2016

Plaintiff lawyers must love you and put you on their x-mas lists for the best scotch. By the time a action was done involving you their first born would get their first year at Harvard paid off. -
I perhaps should have prequalified that with elected republicans. The others have left, my apologies to Mitt Romney,...duh! Perhaps the only GOP member with a backbone and values.
-
And the winner is. There is an absence of leadership within the GOP. Since McCain died there is only McConnell left and he is responsible for the current state of the GOP. Graham is a follower not a leader. I suggest this because McConnell is alone in standing up to trump, abet in a limited way. Within the last week he shot down a second stimulus bill even though throwing more cash around would help the GOP and trump in this election. Thats not to say that McConnell is not complicit in the trump program. But like trump he is a transactional thinking person. He looks at the end game of specific legislation getting passed and a greater goal of conservationism without values. That corporations pay, that gerrymandering pays, that everything that comes into contact with the tank treads of government pays. With an objective of GOP control of the smallest government possible. A government without values. Before there was trump and Stephen Miller there was Mr. McConnell. Leading the drive to kill Obama's SC appointment.Fighting everything Obama stood for. Here he is leading the GOP charge to appoint SC #3 under trump. Consequence be damned.

James Murdoch, resigned from the board of News Corp this summer with an elliptical statement, saying he was leaving “due to disagreements over certain editorial content published by the Company’s news outlets and certain other strategic decisions.... he tried to explain why he “pulled the rip cord,” as he put it, after deepening estrangement with his father and brother and growing discomfort over the toxicity of Fox News and other conservative News Corp properties.... “I reached the conclusion that you can venerate a contest of ideas, if you will, and we all do and that’s important,” he told me. “But it shouldn’t be in a way that hides agendas. A contest of ideas shouldn’t be used to legitimize disinformation. And I think it’s often taken advantage of. And I think at great news organizations, the mission really should be to introduce fact to disperse doubt — not to sow doubt, to obscure fact, if you will." But for those who love "facts" that fit their preconceived, wrong, ideas of trump, economics and politics. You can continue to watch and feed your need for "legitimized disinformation".

What are trump's core values as you define them? Those would properly be describes as his behaviors or attributes. Values would be positive or best attributes of an individual which they would hold up to favorably define their character. They are all true of course but AFAIK trump has never defined nor exhibited any real values. We'll wait for turtlespeed but personally I'm not holding my breath.Naturally his other supporters can chime in.

Any relation?

I think he prefers “truthful hyperbole"

Why should he be any different?

Evidently up to $360 million of the $1.5 billion raised by trump were directed through limited liability companies to conceal what the money was actually used for. 'Many of the specifics of Mr. Trump's spending are opaque; since 2017, the campaign and the R.N.C. have routed $227 million through a single limited liability company linked to Trump campaign officials. That firm, American Made Media Consultants, has been used to place television and digital ads and was the subject of a recent Federal Election Commission complaint arguing it was used to disguise the final destination of spending, which has included paychecks to Lara Trump and Kimberly Guilfoyle, the partners of Mr. Trump's two adult sons. Millions more followed to firms tied to R.N.C. and Trump-linked officials, including more than $39 million to two firms, Parscale Strategy LLC and Giles-Parscale, controlled by Mr. Parscale since the beginning of 2017.... the trump GOP cash machine spent ""Under Mr. Parscale, more than $350 million — almost half of the $800 million spent — went to fund-raising operations, as no expense was spared in finding new donors online," Nearly $100,000 spent on copies of Donald Trump Jr.'s book “Triggered,” which helped propel it to the top of the New York Times bestsellers list. — Over $7.4 million spent at Trump-branevada nded properties since 2017. — At least $35.9 million spent on Trump merchandise. "President Donald Trump’s campaign is secretly paying one Trump son’s wife and another one’s girlfriend $180,000 a year each through the campaign manager’s private company, according to top Republicans with knowledge of the payments. Kimberly Guilfoyle, the girlfriend of eldest son Donald Trump Jr., and Lara Trump, wife of middle son Eric Trump, are each receiving $15,000 a month, according to two GOP sources who are informal White House advisers and who spoke on condition of anonymity. They were unsure when the payments began but say they are being made by campaign manager Bradley Parscale through his company rather than directly by either the campaign or the party in order to avoid public reporting requirements. “I can pay them however I want to pay them,” Parscale told HuffPost on Friday, but then declined to comment any further."

Sorry, you're wrong its FOX news. When you don't watch any other news channel, don't subscribe to the local newspaper their is no cognitive dissonance. I'd guess "President Donald Trump reportedly walked out of his interview with 60 Minutes’ Lesley Stahl on Tuesday, according to CNN White House Correspondent Kaitlan Collins. “Apparently there was some drama while President Trump was taping his 60 Minutes interview today,” Collins tweeted, adding that the president “abruptly ended his solo." Was all about somebody confronting his lies. So on the week prior to the election he had an opportunity to speak to Americans for ten minutes on a popular news show for seniors. Instead a tantrum results then he tweets about her not wearing a mask( pure vindictive theater).

Trump's taxes show chronic losses and years of tax avoidance
Phil1111 replied to Phil1111's topic in Speakers Corner
It seems as if trump is more concerned with spending a day in a Chinese prison than he is a US prison. "Trump International Hotels Management L.L.C., which the tax records show paid $188,561 in taxes in China while pursuing licensing deals there from 2013 to 2015." In the US nothing, zip. -
For all the suckers donating to the GOP. Perhaps you have been wondering how trump managed to piss away $1.5 BILLION dollars since the start of 2019. How he manages to now have only $63 million left and has been cancelling TV ad buys like a crack addict selling everything they own. Well there were the personal legal fees that he used campaign donations for. "The Trump campaign recently sued a Wisconsin TV station for airing an ad from Democratic super PAC Priorities USA, arguing that it misrepresents the president’s statements on the coronavirus outbreak. The TV station asked the court to dismiss the lawsuit, calling it “speech-chilling litigation.” "There are also multiple former aides who have been hired by the Trump campaign or the Republican National Committee after leaving the White House. Omarosa Manigault Newman claims that when she left the administration, she was offered a $15,000-a-month no-show job to keep her happy and quiet. ...other former White House aides have taken a similar path, including a former bodyguard, Keith Schiller, and a body man, John McEntee, who was fired amid a fraud investigation but, because irony is dead, has since returned as head of personnel for the White House.... Some costs come from sops to the president’s fragile ego. The campaign has spent more than $1 million on ads in the District of Columbia so that Trump will see them, even though neither D.C. nor Virginia nor Maryland is likely competitive in November. It also shelled out $11 million for Super Bowl ads in order to go toe-to-toe with Michael Bloomberg." He spent tens of millions at his own business, $100k to buy magnetic pouches so WH insiders couldn't use their cell phones to record his lies. On and on. The total One billion four hundred and forty million dollars. You all should be so happy for your donations to trump and the GOP.

Well that might be normal but in these matters the US had the "greatest negotiator of all time" at work in the negotiations. "Federal health officials and Gilead Sciences have settled on priority distribution to Americans — and nonnegotiable pricing." "Hospitals will receive the product shipped by AmerisourceBergen and will pay no more than Gilead’s Wholesale Acquisition Price (WAC), which amounts to approximately $3,200 per treatment course. " Dear Secretary Alex Azar: "regarding the Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHSor the Department) recent announcement that “President Trump has struck an amazing deal” for a large supply of remdesivir, an antiviral drug that has demonstrated effectiveness in reducing recovery time for patients hospitalized with COVID-19, for the American people.1Remdesivir has the potential to benefit Americans hospitalized byCOVID-19, but it appears that the Department acquired its supply by allowing Gilead Sciences, the drug’s manufacturer, to charge American health insurers the highest price in the world2—representing windfall revenues of up to almost half a billion dollars for the company, paid for in whole or in part by increased premiums for American families3—despite having other options available to expand remdesivir access in the U.S, and despite the fact that American taxpayers spent over $70 million to help develop and test the drug.... It appears, however, that the Department acquired its supply of remdesivir at an exorbitant cost. According to the Department’s announcement, “hospitals will receive the product...and will pay no more than Gilead’s Wholesale Acquisition Price (WAC), which amounts to approximately $3,200 per treatment course.”10The same day that HHS made its announcement, Gilead publicized its global pricing system, indicating that governments of other developed countries will be paying $2,340 for a treatment course.11In other words, America’s private health insurers—and, ultimately, all families and businesses that pay for these costs via health insurance premiums—will be paying $860 more than governments in other countries will pay." I'll say it anyway, thanks trump! You're stupidity and negotiating skills helped subsidize the rest of the world, again.

"The Vietnam War... killed 58,220 American soldiers and wounded 153,303 more...Basing on the current dollar value, the Vietnam War cost the equivalent of about $1 trillion." Win for trump. $6 trillion wasted during his presidency. "The political scientists surveyed in the Brookings Institution report found Donald Trump — seen here in 2017, shortly after he took office — to be America's the most polarizing president by a wide margin. Trump's pursuit of "fractious policies," including travel bans, were cited as fueling the divisiveness. " Ranked #1 of all time. Once again trump wins.

Its difficult to say which of these ideas is the best. Outstanding. You did omit the balance of the trump crime family. Never forget Ivanka, Don Jr. and Eric.
