1,1116 paid the stupidity price in the last 24. Rumor has it the Darwin-delta syndrome is healthy and active.
  3. It may not be all his fault. For the uninitiated: "the centre of criticism, media mogul Rupert Murdoch is facing another fight. This time, it is not about his ties to the Donald Trump presidency but rather focuses on the abundance of media organisations under his ownership in Australia. While Murdoch may be most well-known for owning the parent company of the controversial Fox News in the United States, he also owns close to 70% of Australian newspapers as well as a number of television stations and online news publications in the country." So imagine 24/7 FOX everywhere. "Climate change denialism has lingered for far too long in Australian popular culture, thanks to a conservative government that has spun the tale to its advantage and to the way information has filtered through one of the world’s most monolithic media markets. Ten years ago, I covered it as a niche issue as a rookie reporter in my home town of Sydney. Ketan Joshi, a communications consultant currently writing a book on climate change denialism in Australia,... media outlets owned by Rupert Murdoch (Murdoch owns 70 percent of the country’s newspaper circulation), the executives who run the Australian economy—remain the country’s most active obstructionists on climate policy. In an effort to maintain power, they deploy classic gaslighting techniques, but on a national level, making Australians doubt themselves, their intelligence, and, chillingly, their reality."

That appears to be accurate, so Joe was right. The exception being transgender individuals who appear to have more negative interactions with the medical community. In addition Black-gay individuals lag other rates of vaccinations.
  5. Once again your inclinations to accept misinformation and lies as truth has confused you. trump, President Putin's puppet accepted Nord Stream 2. "During the press conference that followed this morning’s U.S.–Russia summit in Helsinki, Donald Trump seemed to soften his criticism of Nord Stream 2, a Russian-backed natural-gas pipeline that would run under the Baltic Sea from Russia to northern Germany..... But following his sit-down with Putin, Trump was more amenable to Germany’s position. The president now says he knows “where they’re all coming from” and frames America’s dispute with Russia over energy issues as one between good-natured competitors. Said the American president, “So I’ll just wish them luck.... Merkel might have previously felt compelled to block the project following Trump’s tirades, his performance in Helsinki has certainly relieved much of that pressure” trump's motives were even clearer after the Putin meeting." At a time when the American president speaks more favorably of Moscow than of Brussels — and as that president attempts to cajole Emmanuel Macron into exiting the EU (ignoring the fact that this French president is arguably the most pro-European figure on the continent, vying with Merkel for the title) to arguing that it was formed to take advantage of the United States to calling it a “foe” So after looking into President Putin's hypnotic eyes trump folded like a drunk loser in Vegas. Then stated that he wished Germany and Russia, "luck". That the pipeline is all about US gas exports not about security. The above story is from National Review founded by William F. Buckley Jr. in 1955. You need to get your information from more credible conservative sources.
  6. When Donald Trump launched his presidential campaign in 2015 by saying “Nobody builds walls better than me”, it was to say the least a questionable claim." Picture of trump's wall last week. Torn away by water erosion. Biden administration imposes limited sanctions over Russian gas pipeline Getting your news feed from Mike Lindell.com again? "ended oil and gas leases on federal land and is now imploring OPEC" Because GOP hacks and oil companies don't like to obey laws: Between 69 and 84 percent of observed methane gas flares in Texas were unpermitted, environmental group Earthworks said in a report published on Thursday, which says the Railroad Commission of Texas "systemically fails to regulate flaring." Make sense now?

As compared to straight people that take things seriously?
  8. The Taliban have been winning more lately than the GOP as well

Perhaps if the vaccination rates stay low more chips will become available for auto production!
  11. Wrong, again. "In 2001, when the Taliban were weak and ready to surrender, the U.S. passed on a deal....Within a few weeks, many of the Taliban had fled the Afghan capital, terrified by the low whine of approaching B-52 aircraft. Soon, they were a spent force, on the run across the arid mountain-scape of Afghanistan.... It was in the waning days of November 2001 that Taliban leaders began to reach out to Hamid Karzai, who would soon become the interim president of Afghanistan: They wanted to make a deal. “The Taliban were completely defeated, they had no demands, except amnesty,” recalled Barnett Rubin, who worked with the United Nations’ political team in Afghanistan at the time.... But Washington, confident that the Taliban would be wiped out forever, was in no mood for a deal. “We don’t negotiate surrenders,” Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld said in a news conference at the time, adding that the Americans had no interest in leaving Mullah Omar to live out his days anywhere in Afghanistan. The United States wanted him captured or dead." Arrogance of GOP leaders and officials. Democrats having to clean it all up. RNC supporters and officials conveniently having memory issues regarding history. Which category are you in?
  12. Perhaps he has forgotten that trump negotiated the release of over 5000 Taliban fighters from Afghan prisons. "The release of 5,000 Taliban prisoners, which the United States agreed to in a February deal with the insurgents that also began the phased withdrawal of American troops, faced opposition from the Afghan government, which is holding the prisoners. After prolonged pressure from the Trump administration, Mr. Ghani released 4,600 prisoners from a list provided by the Taliban but called for consultations over 400, who he said were accused or convicted of major crimes, including murder, that were beyond his authority to pardon." Which would represent about eight percent of their current fighting forces. The release was specifically negotiated by trump over the objections of the ruling government. Perhaps he has forgotten about the trump-Taliban peace deal because it was removed from the RNC website only four days ago. The rest of the world certainly knows that. So making deals to release documented convicted terrorists is ok. Cutting the legs off of the elected government is ok as long as trump and the GOP do the negotiating? Trump's Deal To End War In Afghanistan Leaves Biden With 'A Terrible Situation' March 4, 2021
  13. Agree. Make life as difficult as possible. Think of a salmon swimming upstream.
  14. Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin sues NASA, escalating its fight for a Moon lander contract Evidently the brotherly love for space is gone.
  15. The Conservatives have already managed to shoot themselves because they are on the wrong side of the issue. "Liberal voters, 87 per cent say they have already been vaccinated or intend to do so. We observe comparable results for the voters of the Bloc Québécois (84 per cent) and the New Democratic Party (83 per cent)."https://www.macleans.ca/politics/ottawa/canada-where-vaccine-acceptance-isnt-political/ "This is what Canadians want. The vaccinated majority is fed up with being held back by the minority who can’t be bothered to protect themselves and everyone else against this pernicious disease. They’ve lost patience with the hesitant and the plain lazy. Yet as of Sunday O’Toole has thrown his party in with those still arguing that the unvaccinated few should effectively exercise a veto over the ability of the rest of us to get beyond COVID and return to normal life. No one, he says, should be required to be vaccinated. “We should educate people and not force them.” Perhaps O’Toole feels he must take this position to guard his right flank against a possible threat from the anti-vaxxers. Or perhaps he doesn’t want to be offside with Conservative premiers like Jason Kenney and Doug Ford who have also taken a “no mandatory vaccines” stance." Quebec supports mandatory vaccinations and 75% of Canadians do. So this one issue may seal the fate of the conservatives in this election given a fourth wave up to the September 20 election date.
  16. No, see below. Just as tribal leaders have done for hundreds of years. They just as easily could have walked from their posts in the middle of January to allow the Taliban takeover.
  17. Could be. Clearly the agent wasn't from C-21 and wearing their gold blazer with C-21 on it. Clearly the agent wasn't from Re/Max because their leased Mercedes would have been out front.

Its Texas where the right to bear arms is fiercely defended. Its Texas where the fear to bare arms is always concealed.
  20. Correct, hence the title of this thread. True hypocrisy is the bible loving GOP base who discount every allegation a woman makes. Then laughs about the locker room entitlements of male sexual privilege.

    covid-19

What about the exhausted nurses and doctors looking after these simpletons. Twelve hour shifts day after day. Because of burnout and staffing shortages. Duty runs to week after week. Then endless "bing, bing" of the patient calling for assistance with more of "I can't breathe". These professionals have had a year and a half of their compassion, empathy. Sucked out of them day after day as patient after patient is wheeled out to the morgue.
  22. Gun forums are far more interesting for the GOP hardcore. Fact and science are nowhere to be found. Instead the latest covid minimizing Facebook fables are mixed with liberal excess.
  23. What! Why wasn't I informed? There is a left bias here largely because of trump. Cuomo has burnt many bridges in NY if you'll pardon the pun. His support vanished because he was a bully and felt he answered to nobody.
  24. An uphill battle: Marjorie Taylor Greene Banned From Twitter Again because she spread false rumors on Twitter. and NYU Researchers Were Studying Disinformation On Facebook. The Company Cut Them Off and the GOP misinformation campaign Poll: Majorities support vaccine, mask mandates — but not Republicans It sees as if vested interests want to spread misinformation for financial and political objectives.
