Live, from Los Angeles, California, the Doooors! er, uh, wait, the kinda sorta Doors. I saw them play once, and to tell the truth, not so great. I didn't realize it was Ian Astbury singing, I just realized it was some guy dressed like Jim Morrison with hair like Jim Morrison who tried real hard to sound like Jim Morrison but really and truly didn't sound so much like Jim Morrison. Are you getting the repetitious use of Jim Morrison's name? Good, cause without him the Doors don't have that amazing chemistry and they just turned into some pretty good musicians covering the Doors music. Or at least that's what I though.

Wendy, that really is a sad story, and AndyMan, thanks for that link. I decided to send the guy an email that went like this: Dear Mr. Knox, I'd like to say that I think you perform an incredibly important function. Any person actively involved in trying to protect the children who are hurt by gang violence and trying to educate children about the dangers of being a member of gangs is indeed doing noble work. I do, however, have to question your refusing to allow Canadian and German children to participate in your poster contest. While I can understand adults having to worry about politics it is a sad day when we have to drag our children into the mess. According to the story I read you admitted that Iraq has absolutely nothing to do with with anti-gang research and school safety issues, saying your thought that "this is a time in history when we need to be together." Sir, I ask you these two questions. How is refusing children the privilege of competing in a poster contest going to bring anyone together? How are other countries going to look at Americans in light of this? We are already looked down upon in the international community as being arrogant and petty, so much so that I know several people who claim to be Canadian when they travel abroad. I seriously doubt that using a children's poster contest as political leverage is going to improve that image. Please reconsider your stated policy on this, if not for the sake of the children you are supposed to be working to protect then for the sake of all us Americans who are tired of having to feel embarassed for the arrogant actions of a few. With best regards, Stephen M. Sparks How do you guys think that is? Truman Sparks for President

Migh h.s. baskeball coach. I knew him way before he was my coach, and I still keep in touch with him. He inspires me everyday simply because he's a hard worker and and he's the most honest person I know and he's the nicest person I know, even to people who maybe don't deserve it. I wish I had it in me to be more like him. Also, my uncle, for seemingly opposite reasons. He's like a kid that forgot to grow up but he still takes care of whatever he has too. He also doesn't brook any shit off people who want to do noghting but give shit. Truman Sparks for President

I saw where this was from and just how crazy it was and well...enjoy. D E L A N D, Fla. — It's harder than you might think to stop a man fleeing in a speeding golf cart. Officers said they spotted David Johnson driving in traffic down New York Avenue in an orange, three-wheeled Harley-Davidson golf cart around 10 p.m. on Jan. 29. When they pulled him over, Johnson's breath smelled of liquor, officers said, and they noticed a beer can in the cart. But Johnson apparently wasn't going to give up that easy. When the officers asked him to take a sobriety test, the 43-year-old allegedly cursed them, hopped back in his cart and drove off. Police tried to shock Johnson with a Taser electrical shock gun, but the suspect's leather jacket apparently blocked the weapon. A frantic chase followed, with one officer jumping on the back of the cart and another pursuing on foot. "Our officer jumped on the back of the moving golf cart. He was hanging on there for a while," said DeLand police spokeswoman Barbara West. "I got to get it back to the shop!" Johnson shouted as he continued, according to the report by Officer John Provenzano. The cart belonged to Johnson's employer, Carriages Unlimited. Police shouted at Johnson to stop, but the determined driver kept zipping up and down Spring Garden Avenue. Provenzano said he struck Johnson in the leg with his baton, but it also had little effect. Finally the officers tackled him and knocked him out of the cart. Johnson was taken to the hospital for evaluation and then charged with operating a golf cart on a public road, fleeing police, resisting arrest and driving under the influence. source:abcnews.com Truman Sparks for President

Oh, he didn't find whatever it was he was looking for, simply because there is nothing in there for him to find. As far as getting my own place, well, believe me, that's priority number one on my agenda. I've been saving practically every penny I get with that exact goal in mind. Problem is I need to get a car, too, since mine is pretty much dead, so that adds a little complication. Not too mention I need a job where I can make enough to do that. Anyway, I've pretty much taken the ignore him position. It was really funny watching him squirm when I almost bumped into him coming out of my room, though. I didn't say a word just walked right by him. In my honest opinion the problem seems to be that ever since we had our little boxing match....well, it's like in the wolf pack, that whole alpha dog thing. He feels like he lost that spot and now he's looking for any way to get it back. Truman Sparks for President

That's why I asked if I shoud be pissed or not. As far as his reason for being in there, I honestly don't know. All I know is that he used to beat my mom and when I found out about it I told him to knock it off or he'd have someone a little meaner than her to mess with. He didn't appreciate it, came at me, and got an ass kicking. Ever since I've been trying to get out of here. Never had any problems other than that, but that is kind of a big one. My opinion, a lot of people are selfish pricks who only worry about them. They probably think that they're doing you a favor by contemplating buying something from you. Truman Sparks for President
