Thanks Kris, I really hope so. I've been told that your own kids are strangers from about 13-14 yrs until about 20-21 yrs old, then they come back. I hope with all my heart this is really true. Ohhh Dave...you have no idea! She lets him run the "hood" when he's with her, and since I require that he call me once he's home from school, and before he leaves the house after school (to be sure his chores, which are few, and his homework are done, as well as to know where he's at) I am quite the asshole! I've supported this kid alone since he was 11, with no help (which I wouldn't have wanted), and little visitation from his mother. All the while, paying an extra $200 / month to keep the skank on my medical Ins. Imagine her surprise next month when I drop her! My 14 yr old son just told me his Mom's getting him a cell phone. To which my response was "that's fine, as long as you leave it at your Moms when you come home" (50/50 custody - 2 weeks each month). He said he'll leave it in his backpack, and turned off while at school, although it's against the rules to even have one at school. I think 14 is too young to even consider having a cell, regardless of when he plans to use it. Thoughts? ps- this is the same mother who tries to keep him from even calling me when he's with her. G. Well, I'm packing tonight for the weekend. Leaving Reno tomorrow afternoon, flying into Ontario and going to my sister's house. My Dad retired today so we're having a blowout for him Sat night. I'll get maybe 3 - 4 hrs. sleep tonight, 5 or 6 if I'm lucky Fri night, and I suspect that'll be it till I get home Sunday night. The good part is I'll get to jump for at least 1/2 day at Perris on Saturday. The family was none to happy about it, but hey, I haven't jumped in a month, and I have a bunch of jumps on my account at Perris (not to mention, through the kindness of her heart, the Bytch has offered to jump w/ me...who in their right mind would pass that up???). My sister put jumps on my account for my B-day in august, and now she's really frosted about the fact that I'm gonna use them on Saturday. My response was "Hey, I'll be back in time for the party. Doesn't start till 6 pm, right?". Ohhh, the venom in her voice! Anybody got a snake-bite kit? Dad wants me to go golfing w/ him and my bro in law Sat.. I'm going to the DZ instead. What would you do? If I start drinking in the afternoon I rarely stop before I go to bed. And sometimes I wake up and have one in the middle of the night. Seconded. I haven't jumped a lot of containers (5 total), but of those I've jumped I liked the Infinity and Wings best. I was looking at a Wings with a base price of $850 + options, but ordered an Infinity from Lisa (with the same options) for $120 more, because the Infinity is every bit as comfortable as the Wings and I like the pin protection better.
