ok i may not be the best example here but i made the jump from a triathalon 210 to a stiletto 170 just fine. i flew it conserativly and carefully, pulled high and put it through the paces. when i landed it i did a perfect tip toe landing. i only had about 135 jumps and a wing loading of 1.26:1. I still fly it carefully when im down low and play when im high..I already have hardware from when i was a student and i dont want any more...but im in no danger of becoming a stastic...you just got to be smart and know what you can and cannot do... --------------BOTTOM LINE--------------- its an insurance policy.....do you drive like an asshole just because you have insurance???? then why fly any different because you have an AAD...cypress saves have increased over the years because people are forgetting their first responsibility...DON'T FORGET TO PULL.. I for one am ordering one. but will i trust it?? oh and the reason i posted to begin with... The first jump i made with my pud i was bet a dollar that i would have a reserve ride..they thought i would drop my pud. but i understand why..its different and just because you feel it give a little on the inital tug doesnt mean you pulled your pin. i see how the guy who bet me needed to use his reserve the first time he used a pud. but i won and i still got that dollar, i think i'll frame it..but I got it because it is low profile and less chance of a total mal. but also because its different and i think you need to try a little of everything just to see what you think of it and how it works for you...i hear of too many people in the world today that just repeat what they have heard and dont try it for themselves..now if you will more than likely kill yourself doing something then dont try it but if its different from your norm. give it a try and make your own opinion...the reason i say this is because the local skygod has been going around the DZ telling all the newbies his opinion on gear and they need to listen to him because he know what he's talkin about...but thats a different topic. i just recieved my new wings and i got to tell you all i love it but there was 2 options i got that do not go well together. the first option is the PUD, the other is the "birdman option" the bird man option consists of not stitching up the bottom corners on the inside of the container all the way, so the container flaps are looser and open wider. well this presented a little problem, the flaps were a little looser once packed and the pud didnt fit properly in the tuck pouch. well easily fixed. just got the rigger(wonderful guy) to put the stiches back in. the moral of the story, dont get a wide opening container with a pud.. but i also got to say i love pulling my pud I am the light my son...What you seek is fire

wait a min why did the "prisioner" have the device off, sitting outside, i smell something fishey. another thing...they wear a box the size of a cigarett pack that acts as a 100 foor tether for a box the size of a brick, and they both go on your ankle?? why dont we just go low tech and make these work release people wear ankle shackels that weigh 40 pounds and save a ton of money on satilite fees computer payments and road runner service..oohh oohh even better if they dont want the double ankle shackel then they can opt for the new and improved ball and chain....ROFLMAO I am the light my son...What you seek is fire

this thread is so sunny cuz today i almost lost a shoe on a frefly jump. we went linked and hosed the exit and tumbled a little finaly we let go and my shoe came off but not all the way. i was at about 9 grand so had time to chance putting back on. i went into a cannonball and got it on in no time at all but when i got stable i see my buddie head down just to keep up. we broke off and landed. when we got back to the packing area i checked my protrack and found my max speed at 177. Dam i have trouble going that fast on purpose. but it was amazing to see how fast you can go just by being unstable. I am the light my son...What you seek is fire

ADD may be overdiagnosed, but it's a very complex question. ok earlier i was ranting about how people want pitty for all of the "new afflictions" heres what i'm looking for. give the clinical name for a current "affliction" and tell us what it really is. here are mine: obesity = someone who needs to put the twinkies down obsessive cumpulsive disorder = a really neat and orderly person attention deficit disorder = someone who needs to learn how to pay attention more (cause of disorder...too much T.V.)
