  1. Ummm...did I do something bad I'm aware about to be left off the list?
  2. Woa. I'm impressed with that menu.
  3. Uh oh. I may have to be there...
  4. Only an emergency will deter me....Boogie on! madjohn, Would it be possible for you (or some other rather local Byron-ite) to play courier and drop my rig off to Clay/Bonnie when I leave the boogie (probably after Saturday jumping)? My Cypres expires/dies (+ reserve of course) like 3 days afterwards. Thanks.
  5. Stop it! The propaganda is hard to resist! Sigh...if only I had the vacation and disposable income of some of you.
  6. Do you want a cookie or something?
  7. ...To me that is a “Forward thinking” society not one that has confused equality with the freedom to advertise one self as a product. Thank you, you two for saying "forward thinking" and not using that corporate buzzword that starts with a 'p'.
  8. He doesn't understand either that the first photo is of Orthodox nuns, not Roman Catholic and the one in the middle of the (Orthodox Nuns) is the Abbess....and that Orthodox Monks dress the same way (except have beards....because they're men) and frequently wear caps as well...but as we all know of course, men are forcing these...wait...MEN...wait...uhhhh...Men forcing men....no!....head don't explode....AAARRRRRRGGGHHHH!
  9. Teaching kids to be silent for a whole minute is wasteful? It doesn't seem like anyone these days is capable of just shutting for a moment.
  10. I was wondering when that Iwan or DP slackers were going to finish that Holiday Boogie 05-06 video...or someone make an American Boogie 2005 video.
  11. I was thinking that I wanted to visit my Byron peeps! And I also didn't "think" to bring my jumpsuit. Yeah, shoulda gone to Lodi.
  12. What I'm thinking...sounds just like me. I had around 35, layoff was 9 months - mostly due to $$. I had a coached jump - I was a lot more stable than I though I would be - and then I was a regular jumper again (albeit still unlicensed)!
  13. You're hot and have perfect dimensions.... Just find something that might fit you (container-wise) and try it on. Find a main somewhere in the 150-170 range like a Sabre/Safire/Fusion/Pilot. Good luck and have fun.
  14. One reason I'm reluctant to buy a brand new canopy...prefer a couple hundred jumps already.
  15. So, I was told about the tracking derby but went to Byron instead since I hadn't been there in a while...and it was pretty much winded out except for Tandems. So, how did it turn out? What were the winds actually like at Lodi? What were the results (both placers and their distance)? I've always been curious of these tracking derby's (even though I'm still in my infantile stage of learning about tracking). Thanks.
  16. Happy....29th Birthday!
  17. I Soooooo wish I could make that.
  18. I may have been on your load then...I was on the last load (I think it was) around 6 pm and on the Beech (not enough for the Otter) and I was wearing a t-shirt and shorts...joined a tracking dive led by Crystal.
  19. Btw, I was there Sunday afternoon and did 3 jumps.
  20. 0:5:0 Finally! Safety Day (3/11) were my last jumps...the irony. I really f-up a 4-way, but had fun (and I guess sucess) on two tracking dives. Good to be in the air again.
  21. One of my favorites is Tracking Totale by Blue Side up in NL. Just extremely well done and with great positive attidtude.
  22. I don't think anyone EVER jumps there..... ...in the middle of the night in the wintertime during a downpour.
  23. There may be more "anomalies" out there than you realize. To backup NWFlyer's post, there is a packer at Byron who is only 18 or 19 who has a few thousand packjobs and I think may be going for his rigger ticket soon...and has only one or two AFF jumps last time I asked him. I'll gladly ask him for tips or pay him to pack mine if needed.
