I just checked weather.com.... The high is forecast to be: 103, 104, 106 and 100 on Thursday - Sunday. MAKE SURE YOU BRING LOTS OF WATER TO DRINK AND SUNSCREEN TO PREVENT SUNBURNS!

Unfortunately TWO WEEKS AGO it was, but should never be otherwise on a sunny weekend day. Hey, I am coming AFTER church and have to drive 1 1/2 hours. I should be able to get at least 3 jumps in.

Motorcylces scare me...I've ridden on the back of one I think one time in my life. Fun, but too fast and close to the ground for my taste. Heal up....and ignore my cross post in the other thread.

Santa Rosa (north bay, sonoma county), work in Novato (northern Marin county), jump in Byron, Davis and occasionally Cloverdale and Lodi. Need to visit Hollister and Monterrey sometime, but they are farther away.

Or whenever Neil feels like giving you the briefing, after you've been there for a while. So I have to scratch from the attendee list. Not only can't I jump, I'm not even in a position to watch and drink beer. Maybe I can make the Byron Boogie. So play hard, but don't be too hungover on your first load of the morning. I remember last year's L1 on the casa - long spots, cutaway, and a busted ankle. Don't join me on the sidelines this summer. What happened? No deneiro? Yeah, then please make Byron.

I left them a voicemail asking about this. I'll post when they call me back. Anyway I got my 'A', so I'll be there from Friday. Good boy. Living in Sunnyvale, you have no excuse to not be there.

I've landed at the main area on every jump I've done at Skydance starting just BEFORE American Boogie 2005...and I may not have had my 'A' then, but I had about 60 jumps (yeah, I procrastinated getting the stamp). I think it may be 50+ or 'B' at the main area.

OK people, where are you?!? So far, I see less than 20 DZ.commers signed up for the American Boogies 2006. This is an awesome beginning of the summer boogie at Skydance Skydiving in Northern California!! They have great facilities and probably the best dinner and brew of any boogie I've been to. AND THERE WILL BE A CASA TOO! (and two PACs, which are great jump planes as well). So where are you guys?!? Boogie, boogie, boogie!

Thanks for the announcement...will try. I'm sure my mom would prefer that I hang w/ yous guys then and hang with her and dad on Sunday (Father's day), but I want to be there (Byron) on Sunday for the GFD jump(s) as well.

Some people just don't care about the license thing, are in no rush and the DZ they usually jump at let's them jump w/o a license as long as they are cleared to solo jump. I've met 3 people who had ~150, ~300 and ~600 before going straight to a D (the latter two). I didn't get my A until about jump 60.

I know! One time I woke up in the middle of the night wondering what the stink was...it wasn't the litter box but the chubby orange tabby who farted! But dog farts are worse - mainly due to the size of the beast. I'm glad my friends growing up kept their Mastiff outside. That would be scary. The little poodle/mutt/chihuaha mix farted bad too though.
