They do! Walt Those upside down pics of cats are funny. When I first got my rig and was changing the risers, I had to shut my cat in the bedroom. Squirting him every 30 seconds in the living room to keep him from playing with the chute just got tiresome quickly.
-
Sorry, I just have the web-sized version. I'll see if I can get a high res copy this weekend. Will it be on skydivingmovies.com anytime soon?
-
So, how is it on ESPN2? I thought it was just going to be on Sportscenter, which would be just ESPN and probably from Primetime and later (so, tape delay).
-
So, should this be the new pick up line at post jumping night activities? [in the voice of Butthead from B&B]Heeyy, bebe. You wanna help me raise my promiscuity ratio?[/Butthead voice

I really hope someone records all this shit and puts it on skydiving movies.

Nice....looks funny with the blue nail caps.

I was just thinking of basic proportions, e.g. 5 out of every 100 orange tabbys are female, based on a random sample (a TURE random sample and not adverse selection, bias, etc.) so one could get an idea of liklihood of a female orange tabby. This is considering that I saw some site that mentioned 1 out of 5000 or something for a male calico (i.e. out of 5000 calicos, 4999 will be female).
-
I saw something like this yesterday when I googled as well, but was disappointed that it didn't give any approximate numbers. I saw something about male calicos like 1 in 5000 (because of the mutation with the "bonus" X chromosome), but nothing for ratio of female orange tabby's. They seem to be more common in comparison since I guess they're "legit" (unlike male calicos), but still not that likely to happen. Where's the numbers people?!?

So is rear risers usually the best way to get back from a downwind long spot? I had two instances where I didn't quite make it (which the dzo got pissed at), but I think my WL was .75 and .91 respectively and now it is 1.05 (my own gear - and my "home" dz could be changing due to a possible closure), so I hope it won't happen again.

Ya got me there.

bump....bump.... OK guys. It's a new day and I posted my boy's pics. AggieDave already commented, now it is time for the rest of you to say how cute my boy is too. I'm sure he's love to play with Katie, even though he is about 1 yr now. Don't worry, he's not impregnatin' nuthin' - been fixed for a while.
-
It was on amctv tonight - it sounds like you guys saw it.

GG, On your used gear page, is that tallguy modelling that container? It looks like him from the back. Yes, it's TallGuy. And he is not modeling it. I snapped a shot after he landed. That's his rig. [anal comment]Well, since he is in a photo displaying the container, he is in fact modeling it even if unintentionally/inadvertently.[/anal comment] He probably doesn't remember me, but I've met him briefly a couple of times at Skydance.

Thanks! Yeah, Falafel is a total pretty boy now. He's very affectionate, but scared of his own shadow. He's afraid to go outside, but will occasionally door dash, get out, and then wander back in 15 min or so later (I leave the door open for him since he wasn't supposed to get out anyway).
-
OK, pics of my boy by comparison. His name is Falafel (as in the mediterranean sandwich). The big gray & white cat is Mega-Man, my former roommate's cat. The pic with the calico female is his sister, Grace. I'm holding them by the scruff so I can get them still enough so Grace's owner can take picture, otherwise they were non-stop chasing each other. They are both around 5 months in this picture, while Falafel is about 2 months or so in the other pictures.

I second that. Awesome and hilarious.

I crashed the last 20-30 min after finishing up another movie. I felt that the 20-30 min was plenty.

Girlfalldown, You have a PM.
-
That's funny. It's probably retaliation for his owner ignoring him and using the laptop.
-
Weren't Lhasa Apso's too (or was that Shih Tzu's - the menagerie my friend had growing included one of the former and two of the latter besides several cats who were mostly inside).
-
...and yes. I think it was yesterday, or the day before.
-
If it was the one with the pieing at the end, then yes, I saw it. Not bad. I haven't officially rated it (rarely do), but I'd say 3.5 stars.
-
I know my cat's mom as well (well, the owner too of course - she's the choir director at my church). She was only 9 mos when she had her first litter (I guess somewhat intended by the owner), but my cats litter was the oops litter - meant to have her spayed but didn't she could get pregnant again so quickly (cats are sluts).
-
I just clip my boy's claws regularly. Since I had him since he was Dave's new girl's size, he's used to it. Just massage the paws to get them used to it. They also have to be in a relaxed, compliant mood (e.g. half-asleep/curled up works). And it's the fronts that usually do all the scratching damage. Re: Spaying. Err on the lower end. You can actually do it as early as 2 months (yes, even females - the vet said so). My cat has a calico sister that he's played with at times (I know her owner) and she was actually in Heat while being spayed at 5 months! And she was starting to be let out through the cat door at that time as well!

The ultimate cat toy: a laser pointer! That is sooooooooo right! Hours of fun.
