  1. With no signs of this thunderstorm hold ever lifting. This sucks royal moose butt. At newark, heading to sf. Once we DO take off, we got another 6 hours of flying. And I can't jump out. And of course, there were no airtroductions matches on this flight, so I'm sitting next to an annoying man. So... Need... Vodka... Argh. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" 2. Thanks for the positive reinforcement. Gives me the drive to keep on pluggin' away at it. And to Ginger, now I know you're ticklish, and after Pete told me about that little "incident," I'm pretty convinced you really were trying to kill him. I've jumped with Ginger. She didn't seem ticklish when she was flailing around trying to get stable. :) Speaking of, Ginger - Gonna be on my 100th next Saturday?? Hmm??? _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" 3. Believe me - If I could get out of the lease, I totally would. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
  4. And I... I.... (It's OK, ntrprnr... We're sharing here, that's what we do...) I.... I LIKE COUNTRY MUSIC. Sigh... There. This NYC boy has admitted it. Drove home from the drop zone today, and New Country on Sirius played the entire way. Made several notes... Thanks to Avis and Continental giving me free itunes credits for every flight I book, I now own... "If You're Going through Hell" by Rodney Atkins "Loco" by David Lee Murphy "Live Like You Were Dying" by Tim McGraw and Up! by Shania Twain. How did this happen? I only listened once. I should have just said no. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

  7. If you're serious about creating the website to get your message out there and possibly get media, then do the following: Document what happened, similar to how you've done above. Clean it up, use Word and save it as a html doc if that's all you've got, better if you know how. Don't object opinion into it, stick to face. Write up a three paragraph "report" on what happened, and fax it to local media. Be prepared to answer more questions if they call back. It's possible to get media out of this and get it to work in your favor, but you want the odds to be working for you as much as possible. Good luck... _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

  10. I'm at my parents house, checking in on their psychotic cats, and have nothing to do tonight hence. So I'm online. Isn't there a chat room on here, or am I losing it? _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
  11. You know, "Miracle" isn't such a bad idea for a name... :D _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

  13. Who's up for ... Dinner... Drinking... Jumping? And where should I go? I've got a conference to present in San Jose Tues and Weds... Free Tuesday night for dinner, and would love to jump somewhere Thursday. Any recommendations for the best DZ in the San Jose/San Francisco area? Really looking to go Thursday, assuming the weather cooperates. And if anyone's up for it Tuesday night, would love to meet up for dinner. Thanks! _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

  15. 2 points. 1) Why accept the date in the first place? 2) FIVE HOURS BEFORE THE DATE? I asked her out Tuesday. That's what pissed me off. Now I have to go to a birthday party by myself, after RSVP'ing for two. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
  16. So... I found the secret to running the full Central Park Loop faster... Answer the phone - Make sure it's the woman with whom you have a second date in five hours or so. Have her tell you that she thinks you're "nice" but doesn't think you're both going in the same direction, and better she tell it now before the date. Have her tell you this five hours before the actual date. Say, "No, thanks for the call, I appreciate it. Take care." Put the phone down, change into running shorts, a t-shirt, socks, and sneakers. Walk over to Central Park. Cue up the following songs on your iPod (among others) DOA, Harder to Breathe, The Wreckoning, Mr. Brightside, Ready, Steady, Go, Bawitdaba, (This is) A song for the lonely, Don't Let Me Get Me, Seasons of Love (Dance Remix)... Fuel all your anger about getting blown off, as well as all that anger you had earlier in the week about stupid clients, and force them into your feet. Press play. Go. Run the Central Park Loop, all 6.023 miles of it, (including Harlem Hill) in 49:31, a new personal record, beating your old personal best by TWENTY EIGHT FREAKIN' SECONDS. THAT'S HOW. _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."

  19. Freaking four day old cold now. Won't go away. Nothing hurts, just stuffy. Been subsisting on sleep, advil cold and sinus, and when I get the chance, more sleep. No sore throat, nothing. 21. Give me four other people, let's go to the library TONIGHT. I TOTALLY WANT TO PLAY THIS. I'M CRYING, I'M LAUGHING SO HARD. Concept: 5 cards. 1 is the "death card." Pull the death card, you have to "do something." But it's played in a library. You have to keep quiet. 22. I'm sorry that sounds like some crappy pizza chain pizza. I think I'll have to travel to different DZs to show people what real pizza is. It's called NYC Ray's Original, Beyotch. You don't EVEN wanna go there with me. ;-) _______________ "Why'd you track away at 7,000 feet?" "Even in freefall, I have commitment issues."
