    Was looking up on nyc.gov to get a permit application for my new metal detector (coolest. gift. ever.) when I found this: (e) Aviation No person shall voluntarily bring, land or cause to alight within or upon any park, any airplane, balloon, parachute, hang glider, or other aerial device, except that certain areas may be designated appropriate landing places for medical evacuation helicopters. For the purposes of this subdivision (e), voluntarily shall mean anything other than a forced landing caused by mechanical or structural failure of the aircraft or other aerial device.     Despite her being too modest to post it here, she won her first swing dancing competition in DC - something called a Novice Jack and Jill. I've no idea what the hell that means, but she came in first - that's all that matters. Congrats, Kelly!!

I don't ever need to do it again, but convincing 50 or so companies to pony up over $100,000 in product and cash to pay for MY 30th birthday party was truly one of my top coup d'état's. Five years.
