Led flashlight technology is great. Led incandescent screw in replacement bulbs are complete SHIT. I have been through no less than 4 from lowes all from different makers. Im not talking the cheap ones either, these were $25-50 each. Failures in less than a year include, not even turning on, flickering like strobe effect, dimmer than normal output, and one even melted down on itself. Its a stupid point to make. You could say the same thing about fire. How many people are kept alive by fire every day through heating, cooking etc vs the ones killed by fire. Obviously if there were no guns people would not get killed by them. Obviously if fire did not exist no one would get killed by it. You cant measure the effectiveness of a gun based off of it being used or not. The main part of having a gun on an officer or soldier or whatever is a show of force. Without that who knows how many officers might have been killed because the offender knew they were unarmed and went for the kill. You cant measure it. So therefore you could say every officer would be killed today if they did not carry a gun.
