Well,,,, I'm not a Tax specialist, but, I think in the case of their Clarksville, Tn. location , they should pay taxes to Tennessee. They advertise in Tennessee, they sell their BS to customers who live in Tennessee, and they have actually managed to open a location in Tennessee, that has actually provided the service that the Tennessee Resident customer paid for. So, Yeah, I think that would be COMPLETELY taxable. I think the same would go for Penn. as well as Cedartown. If they have a DZ in other states that accept their tickets, I think they should be taxed in those states as well. It doesn't seem right (Fair) that a Gift Cert. should be advertised and sold in a certain state, the service be provided in that state, but the tax money goes in to the pocket of an enterprise or individual who is based or lives in another state. Several years ago, My sister had a friend named Christy C. (Last name held for Privacy in a public forum) who fit's the exact bill of this thread. My Sister and I as well as her friends and family tried like hell to set her up with "Nice Guys" who we knew and that we knew would treat her well. For reasons that we still, 16 years later don't understand, she is buried in Spring Hill Cemetary in Nashville. She was more attracted to the abusive assholes than the, I guess you would say the "Regular Assholes" If she went out with a guy who treated her good, she dumped him almost immediately. The sad part is that she had just been signed to a Levi's Jeans commercial deal and was scheduled to start filming three weeks after she was killed. She had her modeling and acting career taking off and had a bright future. I know this is not a unique story as there have been thousands of women to have found the same demise, This just happens to be one that I knew personally and it is a subject that should be taken very seriously. A large portion of this is a prime example of what I mean when I say "deflect, divert, distract, decieve", The topic here is whether or not the Cat Aids Boogie was or was not a scam, and whether or not AST is or is not affiliated with ASC/sLyride. You guys (And girl) are trying to divert the attent to everyone else so the issue will go away. You AND your buddies there have tried to slam my and others ability as skydiver, my or other's equipment, everyone mental capacity, and on and on. You and the other sLyride supporters here had repetitively claimed that AST is not affiliated with sLyride/ASC, Let's look at this for a second; Your website astskydiving.com has a variety of pictures of tandem skydiving, but it seems that they are all used on the sLyride/ASC sites. Not only did they use the Clarksville HS's name without consent, they even went so far as to post ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE that they "Raised a great deal of money for the Clarksville Humane Society". That being said, it does not matter if they raised $1 or $1,000,000, the bottom line is that they did not hand anything over until they were pressured to do so and it took 6 or 8 months to do that, then the HS people decided that they don't want to be involved with AST (ASC/sLyride), so they returned the money. And they went one step further and demanded that the reference to the HS be removed from the AST site. So, here we are again, the question is Scam or Joke? Again I say, if they get away with it, they successfully scammed someone, hence business as usual, but in this case, just as many others, they got caught, so now it was a "Joke". Refuse to Lose!!! Well, I guess you didn't check my info very well, It clearly shows that I jump a Falcon Main, Swift-Plus reserve and a Northern Lite II WITH a Cypress, I don't see anywhere in there that says anything about a round canopy of any kind. What does it matter what my jump numbers are, Like Chris said earlier in this thread, nobody's skydiving ability or experience has anything to do with this issue. I will say this, appearantly, someone beat me to the punch on getting to the Clarksville HS, when I emailed her, she told me that she "had already been informed about it, but thank you for your help". So you may look else where to find your informant on that issue. Yeah, I do admit to spreading to word, but most everyone that I told about it has already informed and were not happy about it. So, basically, everywhere, I went with that, someone had already beat me to it. Sooo, how do you figure that I lied about anything? I simply showed someone what your company was advertising, so, Who lied? Me for saying "hey, look at this" or your people for your people for advertising for all those years to have a Skydive center IN Tennessee, Kentucky, Arizona etc, then for the customer to later find that they will have to go to Georgia to receive their services they paid for?
