We need to remember that this was a skydiving venue only case and some Ballooning came up, so I don't think it's going to hurt them like a lot of us think it will. Look at the whole scope of the Cary company, Skydiving, Hot air Balloons, Gliders, Race Cars, Hang Gliders, Wind Tunnel, Cruise Ships, Shark diving, Spa Treatments, Wine Tasting (Yes, Spa Treatments and Wine Tasting), Hunting and Fishing, and the list goes on and on. Most of those are potentially larger markets than Skydiving, they just don't effect us, so we have a tenacy to not see them, or to not even be concerned by them. That's why I have been posting the links to those other venues, was to bring awareness to the fact that we are fighting a much larger entity that a Skydiving company who advertises fraudulently. Like I said before, do the math, 50 states plus PR, times all those venues, at lease 70 or 80 of them, times at least 6.6m. I think it would take a case of that magnatude to truly put a stop to it. The Skydiving case seems big to us because we all know how big the mass of skydiving websites is and we see that SD AZ got a 6.6m judgement, but after being involved in researching the full realm of the company, I think I would have to say that 6.6m may very well be lunch money to Cary. I could be wrong about all that, but I will say that if I posted each and every domain and sub domain that I have found and add the ones they transferred to look like they are owned at Clarksville (to avoid the GA Ag monitoring them), it would be a list much longer than my Jan's Consumer Alert and Mine combined. I don't think Cary would have all those and allow them to not make money. That's what I have been trying to point out for a long time. The only way that we are going to put a stop to the sLyride scam and their FRAUDULENT WEBSITES and other avenues of advertising is to get a lot of DZ's together, bring in the Racing, Gliders, Balloons and all those other communities that they advertise to offer and get a class action started or whatever the appropriate legal action would be in this situation. There's enough information online about them and their business practices that it would not take much research to build a case. a lot of the legwork has already been done thanks to Jan and some of the other people in the gliders, balloons and racing communities who have reseached them and published the info. Another perspective to look at is this; The Georgia, Connecticut, Tennessee and California Attorney Generals are already looking at them and I will assume that the Arizona AG is as well, I would suggest that if we all got the information to each of our State's AG's, the element of out of pocket expense that we would incur would diminish. AG Blumenthal (Conn.) has already said in the news report that he intends to get all 50 AG's together and put a stop to it, so if anyone knows him, that could be good place to start. If the judgement was 6.6 m, how much do they actually make? If that was for the damages in one state, what about the other 50? (#50 being Puerto Rico) So, if they are ordered to pay 6.6 in one state, for skydiving alone, what about the other 70 or 80 venues and in the other states? do the math, 51 times 75 (round number) times 6.6 million.
