NICE! you'd have thought they would have stopped piling things onto the cart when the ASS first started lifting up. I'd love to see them get it down. CSA #699 Muff #3804

I had to have something to drink I was disappointed with the alamo. I do have to admit it does look funny with a McDonald's across the street and sky scrapers all around. CSA #699 Muff #3804

I love the riverwalk. Dirty Nelly's was the first piano bar I ever went into. CSA #699 Muff #3804

Thought of another one and that is a fear of intimacy Sad but true I guess it stems from being very self conscious of what people think of me. CSA #699 Muff #3804

I've learned to deal with them over time, but prefer to shoot them from across the house with me blow gun rather than get a napkin to catch them. Still a good spider is a dead one on the bottom of a shoe. CSA #699 Muff #3804

Phobias we all have them so what is yours. I have a fear of spiders from when I was younger and had one crawl up my neck when I was in bed. I have learned the only way to overcome your fears is to face them. That is why I skydive so that I will not have a fear of heights

Funny I never had a problem with my exit it was the landing that gave me a problem. Who would believe that after 3 years of being a human lawn dart you can actually do a stand up landing with a square chute. I didn't think there was any other way to land other than a PLF, so thats what I did for the first dozen or so jumps. After the DZO threatened to charge my extra for always rolling in the dirt and getting his gear dirty I started standing them all up. I haven't fallen in over 30 jumps and the last one was due to high winds and wet grass.I do still have the thought of doing a PLF every time I come in on a fast landing. CSA #699 Muff #3804

I was in a Military Intelligence unit (yes I know MI is an oxymoron) for 3 years. the LRSD- Long Range Servalince Detachment who were HALO qualified jumped squares all the time. They did one from a C5 at 10K after the rest of us did a static from 800 feet and we dropped 3 HMMWVs. CSA #699 Muff #3804

I would like to think of myself as carefree rather than freespirited Someone who is outgoing and willing to try anything once regardless of what others and society thinks is right or proper. CSA #699 Muff #3804

I personally have not had that problem. Infact I usually get a good response from others along with a lot of questions about the sport. I do however have a problem with depression if I have not jumped in more than 3 weeks. CSA #699 Muff #3804

tried for a 2500 pull but ended with a 1600 main cutaway and reserve pull after having a pilate chute in tow. CSA #699 Muff #3804

I will never forget an old retired bird colornel I met in Omaha Nebraska a couple years back while attending the 82nd airborne national convention. We got taking while downing a couple glasses of tequila sunrises and he told me about his WWII days. The dude had jumped into Normandy, Holland, Sicily, and Salerno with a post combat jump into Nimegan. Thats 4 COMBAT JUMPS I was speechless I didn't know what to think or do. He just talk about it as if it was nothing. The man is a god as far as I'm concerned He talked for about an hour telling me all his war stories before putting me under the table. The dude hadn't had a drink in over 40 years and he drank me under the table I only wish I could remember his name. CSA #699 Muff #3804 -
I was just looking at the newbie intro forum and is it me or is there a lot more new people to the site or at least new posters than before the forums change. Is this just a coincidence or are they feeling more willing to say hi without the fear of being bashed like some of the past newbie posters. CSA #699 Muff #3804

Christoofar May be I should have been more specific about my answer. I meant it in a way that it would harm the character of the jumper for all to know that he/she had died under the influence. After reading the posts again I can agree that it would help to detour some who have jumped before under the influence not to do it again or to keep some newbie from ever doing it. We should also look after one another the following morning to make sure that our buddies are mentally and physically able to jump. Not only will I not let a friend drive drunk or high I wont let then jump just the same. So, I feel all but the most personal information such as name should be allowed to be read by others in the incident reports. CSA #699 Muff #3804

What does it mean when she says she wants to slow things down, she doesn't return your constant phone calls and only returns those phone calls after you have left pissed off messages on her machine and voice mail. and her daughter tries to call you daddy or wants to know where her daddy is. Does this mean the chick who came after ME and was 12 years older than ME has given me the shaft? CSA #699 Muff #3804

No need to thank me but if you must your welcome. Oh the marines suck and the ARMY RULES. Happy birthday anyway since I'm a nice guy. CSA #699 Muff #3804
