What would constitute evidence in your argument? We are all engines of karma

That's a weak argument, IMO. Just because we can't "measure" something does not mean it doesn't exist. Neutrinos are a prime example. We are all engines of karma

Quote Ah, but it does! Quote LOL... We are all engines of karma

There's also Dodd-Frank, and all the EPA rules in the pipeline. All of which are incredibly anti-business, and will require "wise judges" to implement. We are all engines of karma

Looks like we read different periodicals. Many interviews with successful business executives show that Obama is having a pernicious effect on the economy due to lots of ill defined laws that will require a "wise judge" to interpret. Who's going to make long term plans with that in place, especially when those "wise judges" hate rich people? No one. Once this administration is gone, the uncertainty should be removed, and the capital will come off the sidelines. We are all engines of karma

If it's so important to him, why doesn't he break out his own checkbook? We are all engines of karma

+1 Once he's gone, I think you'll see alot of capital come off the sidelines. We are all engines of karma

Just came across a new word, thought I'd post it: Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers. Sounds fitting... We are all engines of karma

That does seem to be happening more and more. I'm reaching a point where my definition of "a right" is simply how you're allowed to conduct yourself personally. As soon as it starts costing somebody else's money, it becomes a privilege. Granted, I probably need to do some more work on my definition, but that's the basis I find myself using. Maybe in a theoretical sense, but I don't see alot of evidence in a practical sense. We are all engines of karma

Not that I'm looking to get into an abortion debate, but the rate of abortions for blacks in NYC is simply staggering. IIRC, it's like 3 abortions to two births. Somethings wrong with that picture, IMO. We are all engines of karma

I had hoped Colin Powell would run at some point, and would have happily voted for him. We are all engines of karma

I wasn't trying to start anything The GOP hard core Christian element frightens me at times, and it's a big turn off for me, personally. Wrto to tax cuts and increase in tax revenues, hasn't that been clearly demonstrated (assuming everything else govt wise stays the same)? We are all engines of karma

I've seen this going around the Internet. I'm interested in people's comments on this. Struck me as a reasonable assessment. The comparison in #6 made me LOL... Can't say I ever made that connection. I was going to leave off number 12 because it's just silly... 12 Reasons I voted Democrat!!!!!!! 1. I voted Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't. 2. I voted Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would. 3. I voted Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it. 4. I voted Democrat because I'm way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves. 5. I voted Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday can tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius. 6. I voted Democrat because I'm not concerned about millions of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive. 7. I voted Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits. 8. I voted Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as they see fit. 9. I voted Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters. 10. I voted Democrat because I think that it's better to pay billions to people who hate us for their oil, but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle or gopher. 11. I voted Democrat because while we live in the greatest, most wonderful country in the world, I was promised "HOPE AND CHANGE". 12. I voted Democrat because my head is so firmly planted up my ass, it's unlikely that I'll ever have another point of view. We are all engines of karma

German federal president Wulff - do Americans bother?

Hard to do that, IMO. Try, and you pay a price. We are all engines of karma -

No, your father is not that unusual. Just spoke with my father on the phone. He's being doped up beyond belief for 25 years now, due to a work accident. Finally got "committed" to a hospital. Cleaned out his system, and his a different person now. Doctors will kill you, if you let them. We are all engines of karma
